Every day, eleven Canadians are lost to suicide. It is a crucial part of the mental health conversation. Yes, it's heavy. It can be uncomfortable. But it's a conversation worth having. In this episode, I share my deeply personal history with suicide, as well as some warning signs to look out for in others, and ourselves. We also discuss ways that you can support and assist someone in crisis. Suicide prevention starts and ends with awareness and education.
