Have you ever met anyone that truly inspires you? If not, meet Billy Henry. Billy is visually impaired and in high school when he got tired of not having enough options for the visually impaired, he and some friends started power lifting in his garage at the age of 16. Now 23, Billy’s organization offers over 1000 people in 4 different states life changing opportunities through sport.
I’m fortunate to serve on the Board of Directors at the Northwest Association for Blind Athletes, Billy’s organization, where making a difference happens every day. They need volunteers and depend on donations so please hop over to their website here to help out.
I had fun pairing wines with Billy and below are the wines we sampled.
Hoepler Grüner Veltliner (Austria)
Schug Pinot Noir (California)
Ten Spoon Range Rider Red (Montana)
Nine North Wine Company Hullabaloo (California)
