Search all homes for saleToday I wanted to talk to you about the importance of having a home inspection before you purchase a home. One of the first things to keep in mind when looking at a list of home inspectors is you want to make sure you are hiring someone who knows your county’s specific laws.
This can make a really big difference, even with two counties that are right next to each other. You’d be surprised at how many Inspectors in our area do now know county-specific laws.
The last thirty minutes of the inspection is the only time you really need to be there to ask questions. The entire process takes 4-5 hours, and at the end, the inspector will give you a list of everything they found. When working with new home construction, don’t forget to hire a third-party, unbiased inspector because the inspector works for themselves, but they work for the builder as well.
If you have any questions for us about home inspections or about real estate in general, give me a call or send me an email. I can’t wait to hear from you soon!
