“Loneliness is still time spent with the world.” - Ocean Vuong, from his poem “Someday I’ll Love Ocean Vuong”.
Solitude can be used as a tool to empower ourselves, but it’s easy to mistake it for loneliness. Together we tackle the elusive concepts of loneliness and solitude, and how it manifests in our day-to-day moments: on social media, in nature, and wherever else we find ourselves. We try to answer the questions, where does loneliness end and pure solitude begin? How do we pay attention to the space between our thoughts and find the enlightenment within?
