In March 2021, Pleasant Hill Recreation & Park District continued its year-long 70th-anniversary celebration by introducing a new mini-podcast series called “Trailblazing Women in District History.” This podcast featured an interview with a past or current female Rec & Park employee who has been a trailblazer for other women in the industry and who have made a big impact in the District’s history. This podcast also tied in with the celebration of National Women’s History Month, a month-long celebration to acknowledge women’s contributions to history, culture, and society.
