The recent trend is that the travel industry is getting into Fintech or Vice Versa. The UK-based fintech app Revolut, which claims 16 million users, branched out beyond financial services for the first time, and began selling hotels, homes, and guest houses.

The pandemic has led to some serious discussions about accessibility and the disparities for travelers with disabilities. Aids provided with this regard are a big concern as these travellers account for billions of dollars in revenue. So, the International Air Transport Association (IATA) is launching a worldwide action group focusing on improving and examining the safe and secure transport of travelers with disabilities.

The U.S government has extended the travel restrictions for non-essential travel with Canada and Mexico till the end of August. This decision to extend closures for another month is an enormous setback for many businesses as they are continuing to miss out on large amounts of revenue this busy summer season. On the other hand, the U.S has now eased restrictions on India and it is now in Level 3 which is to reconsider travel.
