In today’s episode I interview Alex Dorr, the founder and CEO of Mushroom Revival Inc. After getting his degree in mycology, Alex wrote the book "Mycoremediation Handbook: A Grassroots Guide to Growing Mushrooms and Cleaning up Toxic Waste with Fungi.” (2017).

He is an international educator and researcher on mycology. Alex is absolutely obsessed with the power of mushrooms. He’s also the host of the Mushroom Revival Podcast.

In this interview he shares the mushroom with the most science to back up its claims of health benefits, the misconception that fungi and mushrooms are plants, fungi that have been found under the ocean hibernating for - get this - 20 million years, fungi’s ability to live in space and live off radioactive waste, how mushrooms may support your immune system, and much more.
