This WOD is inspired by by my current goald to complete the Beast Tamer challenge.
Which if you haven't been paying attention is:
1 Pull-up 1 Pistol 1 Press
with the 48kg
This was a really nice little WOD that struck me as my 3rd strength training day of my weekly cycle.
Not only is a piece of quality strength work but by keeping myself committed to the 3:00 work blocks in keeps the WOD down to a pretty efficient 30:00 which is a big deal if you are a busy person like me.
Quite honestly whether you are training for the Beast Tamer or not this is a really nice well rounded strength WOD.
Regarding my quest for the BT, it's pretty late in the year I've only got about 3 months left which doesn't make it impossible to achieve but the timeline is going to be tight.
I'm pretty certain that I'll be able to hit all the disciplines with a 32kg and possibly a 36kg
Which all and all I'd be pretty happy with being that I started this challenge not really being able to do a much of a pistol at all.
I call this WOD: BT Prep
10 Rds
Each Round is 3:00 on the every 3 minutes (basically every 3:00 you start another round any time left is rest time)
1 Medium Kettlebells
Vertical Pulling (preferably loaded) x 3
Press-out Pistol x 1/1
Single Leg Burpee x 3/3
