This WOD is inspired by Power-Speed-Endurance
I really like the 'directness' of some of their conditioning WODs they other crossfit concept that I like that, that is in this WOD is the idea of Buy in/Buy Out.
I combined the Buy in/Buy Out with the idea of a kettlebell drill that always makes my body feel good, the Windmill.
By organizing the WOD with this drill in those to strategic end points you give your body exactly what it needs at the beginning and end of the WOD.
The other valuable thing with this WOD is we are doing some American kettlebells swings, which in a way are the next iteration of the 2-hand Hi-Pull.
Except we are simply trying to express more vertical power in a 2-hand position.
We've spoke an awful lot about 2-Hand Hi Pull recently so moving to the American swing should feel like a pretty normal progression.
The other possibly over looked aspect of this WOD is the dynamic aspect of doing lateral cone jump over burpees, if you've never done these I think you'll be 'pleasantly' surprise just how much 'MORE funner' this variation of burpee is.
