One of my favourite ever podcasts, I can listen to Uncanny County in any mood and it just seems to work. A comic story of the weird and supernatural told straight, it's succeeds in being a surprisingly good drama as well as being hugely entertaining. Would recommend this to anyone.

Spooky, funny, erie, weird and immensely entertaining stories. Everything is just top of the line and really well done.

Whenever a new episode of Uncanny County drops into my feed it goes straight to the top of the queue. Excellent writing, great acting and really good stories make this a series worth listening to more than once. Having its stylistic inspiration drawn from Rod Serling's Twilight Zone whereby it is an anthology of stories with a twist, it beds all these stories within the eponymous Uncanny County itself, granting us a few reoccurring touchstone characters from the areas such as the members of the local law enforcement community. Put simply, you will not regret subscribing!

Solid one-shots

Created by Todd Faulkner, who played Agent Loeb of FX’s The Americans, and Alison Crane, this series provides a folksy melange of horror and humor that made me a fan from the first episode. As a lead-in for the third season they are putting out a mini-series of 5-minute shorts called Tales From A Distance Of No Less Than Six Feet. At five episodes as of this writing, the series is no less than a total delight. The sound design is sparse, but the writing and the performances more than make up for that. Highly recommended.

Uncanny County is really great! It's like a quirky Twilight Zone. Great acting, sound design, and excellent stories.

Personally a little hit and miss for me, but definitely worth a listen (most people have better taste than me!)

Loved this! Quirky, funny, bizarre, but also quite moving at times. Can't wait for another season.

This show gives me such strong Twilight Zone feels. It not necessarily because it's an anthology series about paranormal stories but it's because it tells these stories with a kindness. Similar to Twilight most of the stories in Uncanny County aren't necessarily about the 'weirdness' that happens but what that 'weirdness' teaches the audience about the characters and humanity as a whole.

Loved it. Great voice acting! Great Story! Something that starts off so normal, becomes something far deeper, very quickly.
