Is being violence and abuse-free a key to living a happy and fulfilled life? Join us as we talk about Domestic and Family Violence in our home grounds. We’ll be exploring family roles and responsibilities, thinkings, feelings, behavings, respondings, reactions and patterns.

We’ll make clear what Intimate Partner violence is, talk with adults who endured childhood violence and what they saw happen and what they wanted to happen. We’ll also be talking with people about coercive control, what it looks like, what it sounds like and what it feels like. We’ll discuss, pick apart if you like, the safety implications for women and children most at risk and ways and means of disrupting the violence while doing no more harm.

We’ll try and make it clear what some of the current problems are and how we can liberate and transform those who use violence, abuse and neglect and identify where you can go for support, because we no longer stand by and pretend it’s not happening. We’ll talk with experts on how to heal, to grow and to prosper from the traumas of being victimised, because Our Body Keeps the Score.
