Woohoo! Can't believe, we have reached episode 30, In episode 30, I talk about how the past shouldn't be defining your present self as the title suggests. Looking back, there are plenty of things we wish we wouldn’t have done. But it only appears that way in hindsight. I want you to remember that when you chose to do whatever it is you did, you made that decision at that moment. You made the decision with all that you knew back then, and if you knew better, you would’ve done better. But you didn’t know better, and that’s alright.

Move on from people who are always looking for ways to hurt you using your past as their weapon. Because the people who can’t move on from the version of you that you used to be, and make it difficult for you to do the same, are the kind of people you wouldn’t want around while you’re becoming this person. A person who learns to see beyond what has been.

Major Takeaways:

  • Forgive yourself for choosing to do what you did back then.
  • Surround yourself with people who accept you as you are.
  • The person you were 3 years ago or even 2 months ago shouldn't stop you from being who you want to be now.
