Stephen Jenkinson, MTS, MSW is a teacher, author, storyteller, spiritual activist, farmer, and founder of Orphan Wisdom. With a Master`s degrees from Harvard University (Theology) and the U of Toronto (Social Work), he is revolutionizing grief and dying in the North America. He has spent many years in palliative care which has informed him about the death-phobia and grief illiteracy that we are living in North America. In our show we journey through understanding where our culture`s views on death are and how they came to be. One thing Stephan does is show how language is used to separate ourselves from death and the dying. He shares with us what he sees people struggle with the most in their dying hours.
