We're Vest-Pocket Musicals, and we turn obscure short stories by amateur authors into miniature musical narratives.

As short story authors ourselves, we know how frustrating it is to publish your work online and watch it go undiscovered. Therefore, each episode of Vest-Pocket begins when we find an amateur story in some corner of the web and set to work transforming it into something magical.

First, Nash and Spencer sit down at the piano and do a LIVE improvisation of some musical numbers based on the story. They use this brainstorming session to write a full song with vocals and piano. Finally, the song is recorded and combined with a dramatic reading, immersive soundscape, and an original instrumental soundtrack to create the audio experiences you'll find here.
