Marilyn Oyler has over 30 years of experience in organizational development, community development, training design and delivery with expertise in participatory approaches to strategic planning, innovation, large-scale change, coaching and mentoring, public participation and collaboration. Prior to the establishment of her consulting practice, Marilyn was a member of the staff of the Institute of Cultural Affairs (ICA) for over 35 years. In this role she coordinated the collaborative development of the nationally recognized Technology of Participation (ToP®) course Series and trained more than 3000 people in the ToP® courses including being the lead trainer in more than 30 advanced Mastering ToP® programs. She has facilitated strategic planning for more than 100 corporations, nonprofit organizations, professional associations and government agencies using highly participatory ToP® methods. Today Marilyn continues to be the National Coordinator of the Certified ToP® Facilitator program of the ICA. She has facilitated numerous pre-conference workshops and sessions for the International Association of Facilitators, the Organizational Development Network, the International Association of Public Participation and the ICA in Cairo, Denver and Guatemala.
