Having followed Brian and Justin’s work in the past, enjoying it, but finding it somewhat played to its base (unapologetically so), World’s Greatest Con is a different beast. Well-written, engagingly-performed, with a mix of music and sound effects that give this one-mic show that rich narrative feel without getting in the way. Obviously a fascinating story, and I can’t really credit them with it since it’s based on a book, but their interpretation and delivery of it is pretty masterful.
