Season 1 is a beautiful account of a man's struggle to start a business. Season 2 is mediocre. Season 3 is passable. Season 4 is interesting, but can get grating at times due to Dov Charney's personality. Season 5 is not bad.
Some of the episodes have been incredibly good, but the one on female representation in executive management was not particularly nuanced. While most of the other stories were personal and endearing, this episode featured a rich woman complaining that rich women can't get richer. Instead of being compelling story of overcoming adversity, it devolved into pushing the personal ideology of an individual.
In "Truth, Politics, and Power", Neal Conan acts as a neutral observer of our tumultuous political landscape. This podcast features fair-minded interviews with thoughtful intellectuals on the Trump presidency, along with historical material that provides context for our present day issues. It is beautifully done and highly recommended.
