RATING
I am really enjoying this audio mystery so far. It's compelling enough to make me want to keep going and I binged five episodes in one sitting. The quality of the production is astounding, you'd never know that this is an indie production as it sounds on par with the dramas produced by larger companies like QCODE. The characters play off one another really well and are played pitch perfect. I really can't recommend The Call Of The Void enough; it's got atmosphere, a compelling central mystery and it's a joy to listen to! Check it out!
The Call of the VoidThank you so much!! We are so very grateful for your review! And congrats on a fantastic season so far for Haunted! We're loving it!
This anthology show presents listeners with a different spooky tale each episode, hosted by the ever-present Ranger Harper. Like any anthology show, there's the odd episode which didn't appeal to me as much as others but that is to be expected. The podcast does not shy away from extreme subject matter but the makers handily include a content warning at the beginning. The team behind Morbid Forest have crafted a brilliant work of audio fiction with good acting, atmosphere and production value. My personal highlights for episodes are; "Dear Diary", "I Am Not Dead", "Double Feature", "Puppet Show" and my personal favourite "Harlots of Hardware" which blew me away. I can really see that one making a fantastic Cronenbergian movie! Keep up the great work guys!
Morbid ForestThank you so much, Cronenberg is such high praise!
A wonderful, unique comedy podcast that's just the right blend of parody, drama and music. Great songs in it too! Haven't been able to get "B*tch Mom" out of my head!
