3:27
Are you fuck you? Um?
3:30
All right, so let's
3:32
just jump into it. The king is
3:35
down, the
3:38
rain is almost over. You fuck you. As
3:42
of the recording of this I M Rappaport
3:44
Stereo podcast, and things changed quickly
3:46
in the NBA. As we know, Lebron
3:50
James and his Cleveland Cavaliers
3:53
are down three to two against
3:56
the Boston Celtics in the Eastern
3:59
Conference NBA Championship.
4:03
If they lose one more game, now, correct
4:05
me if I'm wrong. Moody,
4:08
correct me if I'm wrong. If they lose one
4:10
more game, what happens. I'm
4:12
just asking a question. Don't want to get you get you
4:14
all rolled up, but just if they
4:16
do lose one more game, what happens elimination.
4:20
Okay, he looked very tired.
4:25
Yeah, wouldn't you be I'd be exhausted.
4:27
But listen, these
4:31
are his guys. That's his coach, it's
4:33
his offensive system. Everything
4:35
runs through Lebron James. He's
4:37
got Tyler there. We don't know if this guy can
4:40
coach or not. Lebron James
4:42
is a superior basketball
4:44
mind, he's a superior player. But
4:46
listen, everybody has their floors. Maybe
4:49
his flaw is who he picks to be teammates.
4:52
Maybe maybe he shouldn't be coached by
4:54
a guy who he's that close with, Mr
4:56
tylu Maybe maybe that's
4:58
not the way things should be. Maybe
5:01
there should be a separation between church
5:03
and state, just like the separation between player
5:05
and coach. What do I know? I
5:08
know this, I will say this. That
5:11
guy after the game game uh
5:13
five Miles played
5:15
the clip. I know you have a way that you measure
5:18
turnovers if they're aggressive
5:20
or bad turnovers? Seven the other
5:22
night and six tonight? Where are you with with? That's
5:25
an unusual high number for you. How many of them
5:27
are unfortunate? How many of them can you live? Um? I
5:29
had two turnovers where I felt like there were just um,
5:32
really bad. My first turnover, I
5:34
tried to I saw something happening, and uh,
5:37
Marcus did a good job. Marcus Moore's did a great job
5:39
of reading it. Threw it up ahead to Calf he
5:41
picked it off. Um.
5:44
My second turnover, I went baseline, lost
5:47
lost my foot on Marcus Morris. Another turnover.
5:49
Um, a couple of them want
5:52
to transition to Jeff Green. I thought, I, you
5:54
know, put it on his hands and he kind of fumbled it.
5:56
Um. I wish I can have that one back and maybe bounced
5:58
past that one. How the back door I wanted
6:01
to switch hit his hands. Maybe
6:03
should have not thrown that when there's a little bit in traffic.
6:05
Our Horford was right there, but it hit switched hands. But
6:08
maybe you should have took that one back. Um.
6:11
I had a post up on Terry Rozier. They came in Peyton
6:14
from the bottom side of that means painting means
6:16
they double from the baseline. Sorry, guys,
6:19
um and Jayson Tatum got his hands
6:21
on him and I had a guy wide open. I should have faked hied
6:24
through a low And my
6:26
last turnover was just very very careless
6:28
on Terry Rozier, we had a pick and roll, I got to switch
6:30
and I just lost it out of bounce on the other side of
6:32
the air, um away from
6:35
there um basket. So
6:37
that's my six turnovers. I think out of those
6:39
six, maybe three of them was just careless.
6:42
I think the other three were attack turnovers. And I'm okay with
6:44
that. He was asked after the
6:46
game about his turnovers,
6:49
and with without checking any paper,
6:51
without looking down, without batting an eye, without
6:53
preparing for a test, this fucking
6:56
beast, this robot, Lebron
6:58
James was able to reset in detail
7:01
every single one of
7:03
his turnovers. Like, this
7:06
guy's mind is on some other
7:08
ship, and some people are like
7:10
the people get confused when I compliment
7:13
him ge. They get well, I thought you
7:15
hate him, I go, don't, don't hate him, You've
7:18
calm down. I don't hate him. I
7:20
want them to fucking lose. I
7:22
want him to lose. People think it's like
7:25
a it's a personal thing. They don't want
7:27
to hear that from you. You you're
7:29
dissing him one time. Nobody
7:32
want to hear that from you, Like
7:34
nobody want to hear you praising Lebron
7:36
after you after you dragged them down.
7:39
So of course they're gonna come at you like that. It's
7:42
not retracted,
7:44
But but I said what I said, But I'll retracted.
7:46
Keep it on record, keep it in the podcast. You
7:48
heard the clip. The guy's a fucking roboties on
7:50
some Rainman Dustin Hoffman, Tom
7:52
Cruise Ship. Nobody wants to hear it.
7:54
I'll keep my I'll keep my compliments to myself.
7:57
Yeah, yeah, you're throwing dirt on the grave,
7:59
but you don't know what the outcome of the next
8:01
game is gonna be. And considering
8:05
the caliber of player we're talking about,
8:07
I think you should shut the funk up with this guy.
8:10
Man, Okay, no
8:12
problem, no problem. Um
8:18
until the bell
8:20
sounds and maybe he's lost,
8:23
then you could say ship. But don't count this dude
8:25
out. You did that before and they won the champions
8:27
Okay, I just just listen. I'm
8:30
here to present the news. Okay.
8:32
I don't mean to get you all riled up. I could tell you're
8:34
a little nervous. It's okay, it's okay.
8:37
I can't I tried to compliment the guy and then
8:39
and then you jumped down my throat. Yeah, nobody
8:41
want to hear that from you. Western
8:43
Conference finals. We have a series. Houston
8:46
is now up three games to two.
8:50
It's very interesting, it's very competitive.
8:52
I thought it was gonna be easier for the Warriors.
8:55
It hasn't been. We're gonna see how that
8:57
plays itself out. Um
9:00
and I don't know. We have
9:02
a jam packed I am Rappaport Memorial
9:05
Day episode. As
9:08
I told you, Uh, offensive
9:10
lineman, this guy talks
9:13
ship. This guy's got stories. He's
9:15
a pro bowler. He plays for the Oakland
9:17
Raiders, played for John Gruden
9:20
in Tampa Bay, is
9:22
now playing for John Gruden and Oakland.
9:25
Offensive lineman. He protects the blindside
9:29
of a hundred million dollar
9:31
man, the quarterback Derek Carr.
9:34
He blocks for Marshawn Lynch.
9:37
He's a good dude, a thoughtful dude,
9:39
and he loves to talk shit. All
9:41
kinds of stories about playing football. And this
9:44
is just a great interview with
9:46
de Donald Penn coming up later in
9:48
the episode. UM.
9:50
Recurring recurring theme of the Iron Rapports
9:53
stereo podcast chicken Head Tommy Loren,
9:56
Oh what happened now? Chickenhead
9:59
Tommy Loren? Was that a restaurant? And
10:01
I believe Minnesota, if you've never listened
10:03
to the iron rapports stereo pockets. You know that we do
10:05
not fact check, but I believe she
10:07
was in Minnesota, Um huh.
10:10
And while she was in a restaurant, a woman
10:13
started verbally abusing
10:15
her. You have to use that words, not just calling her a piece
10:17
of ship. You have to say verbal abuse. And
10:20
then she splashed her with some water. You
10:23
see, that's dumb ship. Yeah, I as
10:25
much as I don't support that, because you know
10:28
that could turn into a whole thing. Yeah,
10:31
you know, you never know how she's gonna react
10:33
on somebody else is can react how another that
10:36
that's not okay. As much as I don't like
10:38
her, and I think she's just a like
10:40
just an upgraded cheerleader, and
10:43
and she's not a critical thinker, and
10:45
and she she doesn't even give a critical
10:47
thoughts to the president, who we all know is flawed.
10:51
She doesn't give any sort of bias nous.
10:53
It's just I want to suck him off. I
10:55
want to suck him off. I want to suck him off. She's
10:57
not saying that, but that's basically the
11:00
way she talks, like he could do no wrong.
11:02
Even his wife isn't as
11:05
unbiased as she is. But
11:08
I don't support walking up on people and
11:10
throwing water on people that
11:12
you don't know and doing
11:15
that. Why why why are they doing that?
11:17
If these are the people that are about tolerance
11:20
and and diversity, why
11:23
are you attacking her just for her words?
11:25
She's out, You're throwing water on her, and
11:28
and for what? For what? But
11:30
you but your to motherfucker with the tolerance
11:32
and oh we're compassion. But it's
11:35
the opposite because there's no
11:37
need to do that. She has
11:39
her opinion and you have yours. So
11:42
why you gotta assault the person? You see
11:44
what I'm saying, that's that's bullshit.
11:46
I agree, I agree. Um,
11:50
this prompted the president of the United
11:52
States, the
11:55
President of the United States, after this happened,
11:58
he came out and defended
12:01
Tommy loren She she's
12:03
great, we love her, we appreciate
12:06
her, we respect her. And and
12:08
this is why Donald's Trump Dick Stain Donald
12:10
Trump, as he had better known
12:12
as Dick Sain, Donald Trump, why
12:15
I think you're a fucking joke. Uh
12:17
what why are you talking about some lackluster,
12:21
unskilled, uh
12:25
chicken head? Like, well, why is this even
12:27
why do you even know about her? But this is this
12:29
is this is what he does. He tweeted
12:31
his support for Tommy right now after she got
12:33
splashed with a little bit of water. Um,
12:36
a little bit. It wasn't like somebody
12:39
did like an ice bucket challenge. I hit it with a little
12:41
little dows So you know, you you walk in
12:43
a restaurant and you walk somewhere and you
12:45
got your views, and motherfucker's attack
12:48
you. If she if she was really from the
12:50
street, if it was some street ship, that woman
12:52
would have got to ask kicked for that. But you can't
12:54
do that to people because you disagree with her
12:56
or whatever. You get your ass kicked for
12:58
that, because why are you doing that?
13:01
I agree? But but but uh, I
13:04
don't know why Donald Trump is such
13:06
a big fan that he had to send out a tweet
13:08
about her. She
13:10
needed to support um. I
13:13
wanted to ask you and ask a question
13:15
to the fans. Do you think that
13:18
Tommy Loren informer ESPN
13:21
broadcast there, they're like the same person.
13:24
They have unwavering, a
13:26
relentless support of all
13:29
things Donald Trump. Britt McHenry
13:31
remember her, she got fired from from
13:33
uh ESPN. I
13:36
call her chicken head Brit. She
13:38
has the same colored teeth
13:40
and the same bleach
13:43
blonde hair is Tommy Loren Do
13:45
you think that they are related? And
13:47
and do you think that the color of
13:49
their teeth should be called hooded
13:51
white or old right
13:54
white. I wanted to pose that to you. Uh,
13:57
No, they're not, They're not related, and
14:00
I would I would go for a hooded white. I like
14:02
that. That's kind of clever. Hooded white,
14:04
hooded white. Okay. Uh.
14:07
The the NFL news is
14:08
is is you know, with the with the
14:11
protests and the fines, um,
14:13
the Jets owner and the San Francisco owner,
14:15
um basically are not
14:18
in support of what the NFL did.
14:20
They have come out and said they will pay all fines
14:23
for their players that are divvied
14:25
out for these penalties
14:28
if you peacefully protest the flag.
14:31
This conversation is going to this
14:33
is gonna be the main conversation until
14:35
the playoffs during
14:37
the NFL season. Yeah,
14:39
who's in the locker room, who didn't, who
14:42
stayed, Who's who's anti this? It's
14:44
gonna be it's gonna be terrible. But
14:46
the owners drew a line in the
14:48
sand without the consultation of the
14:50
players. That lets you know that
14:53
they're saying we don't give a fuck. This
14:55
is our league and this is what it's going to
14:57
be. So they set the policy and
14:59
that's what it is now. So I'd
15:01
say, I'd say take the grievance to
15:04
where Like I said the last podcast,
15:06
take the grievance. If the issue is police, let's
15:09
go to the justice department, let's go to the
15:11
local precincts, let's do whatever. But
15:14
you're not gonna do that in a in the
15:16
workplace, in the stadium. They're not gonna allow
15:18
you to do that. Well, Dick Stain,
15:20
Donald Trump said,
15:22
uh that maybe these players
15:25
shouldn't be allowed to play, Maybe they shouldn't
15:27
be employed, Maybe they
15:30
shouldn't live in this country. This is
15:32
again, Dick Stain, Donald Trump the draft
15:34
dodger, and now
15:36
he's Mr American. He got drafted
15:39
and he avoided the draft at all costs.
15:41
Now he's Mr American. That
15:45
is that is true? Um, yeah,
15:47
he's saying these people shouldn't live in live in
15:50
the United States. Uh, maybe they should,
15:52
maybe they shouldn't leave. He suggested they shouldn't
15:54
live here. This is why, uh,
15:56
this is why I can't funk with him, because
15:59
you know what he saying. He's saying, Oh,
16:01
if you don't like the flag, you don't want you don't like the country,
16:04
maybe shouldn't be here. Well he maybe I
16:06
don't think he likes the flag, and I don't think he likes the country
16:08
because when he got drafted, he didn't go pose
16:12
it back to him. That's what somebody should do, pose
16:14
it back. That's real journalism. Maybe you
16:17
don't like the flag, dis country
16:19
here because when you had the ultimate honor
16:22
to do the ultimate support of your
16:24
country, you had Papa
16:26
right. They need us in the press row because
16:29
we would throw that question at him. Well what
16:31
about you? Maybe
16:33
you don't like it so much? Now
16:36
I wanted to throw this at you. This guy I
16:38
some people suggested that he's a sick funk of the week.
16:43
We being the critical thinkers at
16:45
the I N Wrapports stereo podcast, home
16:48
of the most disruptive podcasts in the world.
16:52
We know Lenny dike Stra as
16:54
a New York Met. I don't know him personally. I've never met
16:57
Lenny Dikestra. He's a New York
16:59
Met. He's a character or he's had a crazy
17:01
life. Uh he you
17:04
know, obviously had some drug issues. He's
17:06
made a fortune after playing baseball.
17:09
Then he gotten dieted that it was like illegal,
17:11
like through some you know, Wall Street scamming
17:14
all this stuff. Okay, he's
17:16
considered a hide head. He's he's way out
17:18
there. The
17:21
other day he was in an Uber. Now
17:23
we have spoken repetitively
17:26
about being in Uber's and
17:28
how these guys they don't leave you alone,
17:31
and how the Uber drivers they don't shut
17:33
the funk up and they don't mind their business. So,
17:37
while in an Uber car in
17:40
the Tri State area in New York, I
17:42
think it was in Queens, might have been in Manhattan
17:44
going to Jersey, Lenny
17:47
Dikstra asked the Uber
17:49
driver to change the address
17:51
of where he was going. Apparently
17:54
the Uber driver refused. Um.
17:58
I guess you're supposed to do it through the app. Um.
18:01
Also, the Uber driver is not supposed to
18:04
talk or have bad breath. That should
18:06
be a rule. Yeah, it
18:09
should be a basic rule. How are you should
18:11
be the only thing? Thank you for driving me
18:14
should be the second thing, and and
18:16
and chewing gum should be mandatory
18:18
while you're on the job at Uber. You should be forced.
18:21
It should be a part of the job policy that
18:23
you chew gum. When a passenger is
18:25
in your car. Correct, Absolutely
18:28
no talking. There's no need to talk.
18:31
Your job is to drive me to
18:33
my destination. I don't care what
18:36
where you're from. I don't care where you're from,
18:39
how long you've been driving, how much you enjoy
18:41
being a driver, any of it. This
18:44
is not a blind date that where. This is
18:46
a service business. And if you are
18:49
driving me, keep a piece
18:51
of mint gum whatever brand you
18:53
want in your mouth. I
18:56
don't want to smell your breath in the entire
18:58
car. You smell like shit. That
19:01
being said, Lenny Dikeser was in the car.
19:03
He got into a beef with the with the Uber driver.
19:05
Apparently he pulled the gun on the
19:07
Uber driver. The police were called.
19:10
They they found the gun, they found
19:12
some weed, they found some ecstasy,
19:14
and they found some of that booger sugar.
19:18
Oh man, Lenny
19:22
Dicher is back in trouble. But I'm
19:24
thinking this, this whole thing could have been
19:26
inspired by a yappie,
19:28
nosy Uber
19:31
driver that could have pushed poor Lenny
19:33
Dikesher over the edge. Am I being
19:35
too compassionate? I wanted to see what you thought,
19:37
Mr moody Man. It's funked
19:39
up to know that Lenny is still skiing
19:41
out there's still wild. But man,
19:44
you're you're your own point where you're not You're
19:46
you're right where you need to be. Just
19:49
funked up from a man Lenny d Man to be still
19:51
skiing out there, man, damn skiing.
19:55
Um. The Internet Twitter
19:58
is some garbage. Uh.
20:00
The actress Rebel Wilson, who's
20:03
funny. She always plays the fat
20:05
girl. I'm that this is what the role she
20:07
plays. She makes jokes about her weight. Uh,
20:10
when she's in character, she makes jokes about her
20:13
weight out of character. Okay,
20:15
that's part of her brand, being like the chubby,
20:18
funny girl. I
20:20
like her. I think she's a she's a good Actress's a funny
20:22
actress. The Internet, mainly
20:25
Twitter, because this is where all like all all the all
20:27
the real bullshit happens, accused
20:31
other people of
20:34
fat shaming this
20:36
actress, Rebel Wilson. Rebel
20:40
Wilson then said no, I
20:42
was not fat shamed, and
20:44
then Twitter and the Internet
20:47
started to argue with
20:50
Rebel Wilson whether or not she had
20:52
in fact been fat shamed.
20:54
She basically saying, I have no problem what they said.
20:57
I don't care what they said. I don't consider it fat
20:59
shame. And then people started arguing with
21:02
her about how she should feel about
21:04
people commenting on her wake. This
21:06
is this is where we're at now. This is that sucker
21:09
ship. This is what they do
21:11
to me. White cats come to
21:13
me telling me how bad it
21:15
is for black people in America. This
21:17
is the same ship they do to me. These
21:22
people are these people are First
21:24
of all, they're they're butter Soft
21:27
And I don't mean butter Soft iron Rapports stereo
21:29
podcast t shirts which are always available
21:32
District Lines forward slash. I
21:34
am Rappaport. I
21:36
do not mean those T shirts. I don't mean butter
21:38
Soft, like butter Soft iron Wraport stereo podcasts
21:41
that are available district Lines dot com forward slash,
21:43
I am wrapper. I mean like in their
21:45
soul, they're bitch made
21:48
in their soul. They are just grieving
21:51
and just wallowing in their guilt.
21:55
I I don't I don't understand it. She said.
21:57
I have no problem with what they say. I'm comfortable
21:59
in my skin. I'm comfortable with the comments. I
22:01
don't feel like I got fat changed. And then people
22:03
are trying to say that yes you did, blah
22:06
blah blah, blah blah. She
22:09
doesn't feel that way. You can't make her. It's
22:11
like they're bullying or you're thinking crazy.
22:13
Man. Yeah, that's
22:16
how they'd come at you. Man the Calvary
22:18
on on Twitter. And
22:21
since you're in the acting, you're still you know, in acting
22:24
category. I want to quote Biggie
22:26
Smalls on this guy. Uh
22:28
he he will be more gone
22:30
than Freeman. Morgan
22:34
Freeman, it's over.
22:37
Well, from from what I've read, this is the
22:39
beginning of the end. And uh
22:42
it seems like they're witnesses. These things were
22:44
done in public. So to quote
22:46
Biggie Smalls, you'll be more gone
22:48
than Freeman. It's over. Be it's Morgan
22:51
Freeman, one of the most respected, uh
22:53
successful movie stars
22:56
of the last twenty years, has been accused
22:59
of sexual harassment uh
23:02
verbally by eight
23:04
women witnesses. There's
23:07
witnesses. There are people co signing.
23:09
It was a whole investigation. You
23:12
know, it's it's too soon to
23:14
to speak on it. You know, there's been rumors about
23:16
Morgan Freeman and his step granddaughter
23:19
or his granddaughter. I don't know for
23:21
years. Easy Reader. Easy Reader
23:23
is gone from the Electric company.
23:26
He is gone. Let me tell you let me
23:28
let me read the epitaph. This motherfucker is
23:30
gone. Man. I read that ship on CNN
23:33
and they have witnesses and it was said
23:36
a lot of a lot of greasy ship was said in
23:38
public. Yo. He
23:40
knew it when all this ship was going down with these
23:42
other cats, he knew the other shoe was
23:44
gonna drop for him. It's just a matter of time,
23:47
and here we are. It ain't over. I
23:50
am. I'm not gonna say names, but it is not over.
23:53
It's bad to be famous, man at
23:55
this time. It's bad to be a
23:57
star. Man. You don't know, yo,
24:00
You don't know what these motherfucker's You know, they
24:02
could take you, misconstruing
24:04
you saying hello or you look
24:06
nice. They could just turn that ship around and
24:09
your your ship is over. Legacy
24:12
ruined everything, and
24:14
it's just man bucked
24:17
out. Man, um
24:20
miles, let me get a siren. Yeah,
24:23
that's it, because we we gotta stick Man
24:25
alert. We we we got
24:27
a stick Man alert.
24:30
This this guy just went from stick
24:32
man obscurity to
24:34
the stick Man hole
24:37
of fame Brazilian soccer
24:39
legends. I know, I
24:41
don't know. I'm not gonna pronounce his name correctly. They
24:44
call him Ronaldo, let's just call him
24:46
Ronaldo or Ronald Dino.
24:48
I'll just say Ronaldo so I don't keep screwing it up.
24:51
Listen, if if, if, if you follow sports, you you've
24:54
seen him. He's like one of the greatest soccer players of
24:56
all time. Went from stick man
24:58
obscurity right into
25:00
the stick Man Hall of fame. My
25:03
man married and
25:07
they're all aware and all they're
25:10
all in sync. Two
25:12
days ago, he married
25:15
his two fiances in
25:17
a private ceremony in
25:19
Rio Dijon narrow. I
25:22
love money. I love this, dude, Yo,
25:26
this is this is game. They're
25:29
totally in sync. The girls are happy,
25:31
Ronaldo is happy. They are starting
25:34
a family. I
25:36
don't know what to say, like, Yo, my man, Yo,
25:40
this is straight P I m P
25:42
straight stick man ship. And to
25:45
be clear, as stickman is not an ear irresponsible
25:48
fuck. A stickman is
25:50
one who does it in silence, does it
25:52
with class. There's no complaints.
25:55
Everything is above board. My
25:57
man has been quietly skating for
26:00
twenties something years. He's from Brazil.
26:02
He's a worldwide star. He's an international
26:05
soccer playing star. He
26:08
decided to settle down with not one but
26:11
two of his fiance's. They had a private
26:13
ceremony. What can I say?
26:16
I love this dude. And that
26:20
is not unusual on this planet,
26:22
only like only in America, like
26:25
like certain societies. But that's the norm
26:28
for men to have more than
26:30
one uh wife.
26:32
So yo, that's what it is
26:35
on the planet. That's the that's the norm.
26:38
Here it's different.
26:40
But YO, shout out to my man.
26:43
What's what's his name? Ronaldo? He put
26:45
it down. Man put it. Shout
26:47
out to the women, and shout out to those women
26:50
that said, you know what we accrue.
26:52
It's all of us, and and and good luck
26:54
to to your family and the rest
26:56
of your life. However you want to do
26:58
it as unconventional as some people might find
27:00
it. Uh do you Ronaldo
27:05
too too? And they and they with it, and
27:08
and everybody's cool. You know that's the norm
27:10
around the world. Just you know, in certain societies,
27:12
it's not not tolerated,
27:15
all right. Next, the
27:18
Charles Oakley New York Knicks James
27:20
Dolan saga continues, Um,
27:23
you know we rocked with oak till
27:25
the wheels fall off. Video footage
27:28
has surfaced. Surveillance footage
27:31
from the garden the incident that happened with
27:33
Oakley and the security guards
27:35
when they approached him. There's footage
27:37
showing the security guards talking to Dolan
27:41
and then Dolan sending them over to Oakley
27:43
and then giving him the thumbs up like
27:45
like this whole thing was like yo, go
27:47
go get him, go get him out of here. And
27:49
Oakley has said this from the beginning. And he wasn't doing
27:51
anything wrong. They said, he might
27:53
have been a little of inebriating, but if he didn't do anything wrong,
27:56
he didn't do anything wrong. We
27:58
we stand with oak rock with oak
28:01
of course, we have the Buttersoft Iron Wrappers
28:03
stereo podcast. Charles
28:05
Oakley, King of New York T shirt oak
28:08
is standing firm.
28:11
He will he he has filed a defamation
28:13
and discrimination suit against
28:16
the Garden and Dolan, And
28:18
this footage apparently makes
28:21
things look good for for our guy,
28:23
Charles Oakley's case, and uh,
28:25
you know, it's just more disruption for
28:28
the New York Knicks. Uh. This never should
28:30
have happened. Uh, he's the consummate
28:32
New York Nick. Uh left blood
28:35
and guts on the floor everywhere he played. But
28:37
he did his best work as a New
28:39
York Knick in the late eighties and
28:41
and throughout the nineties. Yeah. Absolutely,
28:44
Ok, you got a case. And
28:47
nobody makes a move like that without
28:50
the consent of the
28:52
guy who owns the place, exactly.
28:56
They don't just approach anybody like
28:58
they got the nod from the owner. And
29:00
Uh, this ship ain't This ship ain't going away and it's
29:03
gonna be figured out in a quarter law.
29:05
All right. Coming up next on the Iron Wrap for Stereo
29:07
podcast, all right, the Young Shooter Dean
29:10
Collins. Judge Dean Collins.
29:12
Uh, he stepped he
29:15
this, Yeah, he stepped into reside. We
29:17
have an award winning segment of six Funk
29:19
of the Week or Beyond with
29:22
the Young Shooter Dean Collins.
29:25
Coming up next, Miles Jordan's
29:27
take us in there with something funky, Take
29:29
us in there with a smacker, and then we have Offensive
29:32
Tackle thirteen years of NFL action
29:35
from the Oakland Raiders. Donald
29:37
Penn give
29:40
me a test test Test Test test
29:42
tea. Are you there? Yeah, I'm here, man. Make sure
29:44
my mike is no,
29:46
no, no, I heard what happened the other day. Moody was
29:48
recorded, you weren't. I'm not doing it twice,
29:51
so make sure it's on You're on it's
29:53
recording. As as promised, the
29:55
Young Shooter is back with
29:58
yet another episode of
30:01
Sick Funk of the Week or
30:03
We're beyond Now I
30:05
can I say it with you? No, no,
30:09
no, you can't. You can't
30:11
say it with me and I and and let me tell you something.
30:13
We did an episode the other day in premium
30:16
in primetime PTP. We call
30:18
it prime time podcasting. Uh. And
30:21
Judge Gerald Moody, Yeah, it
30:23
was was in the court. Uh. And
30:25
now you're saying, well, you heard that episode
30:28
was good, but you feel like you're a better, more, a
30:30
fairer, more unbiased
30:32
judge. I'm definitely. I'm definitely a more unbiased
30:35
judge. Um, Judge Moody.
30:37
I there's I have nothing against
30:39
Judge Moody. We're both we're both with just different
30:41
judges, you know what I mean. I mean, Fox
30:44
are out there. It's up to the judges to decide,
30:47
uh if they're six Fox of the Week
30:49
or beyond sick fuck. I
30:52
mean I was the first judge because we
30:54
did the first episode, so you
30:56
know, but it's neither here nor there. Why don't we just
30:58
start again? Were
31:01
doing? Man? You ship bag
31:03
dude. I didn't like we're a
31:05
diaper and go in the bathroom. We're
31:07
the one diaper when you're shooting a podcast,
31:10
were a man diaper. First of all, no one can
31:12
smell anything, and you're the one with ten candles in here
31:14
because you've all been you you're
31:16
busting through the can. I'm not doing anything. You smell
31:19
like ship. Let's get to it. You
31:21
guys know the deal. Uh. The sick
31:23
Funk of the Week is an award winning segment. Uh.
31:26
Sometimes we can't figure out if people
31:28
even be deserved to be on
31:30
this podcast, uh and be
31:32
considered as sick Fox of the week. So
31:35
we leave it into the judge's hand to
31:37
say, is it a sick Funk of the week or
31:39
is he beyond? You? Said? Award winning? By the way,
31:42
this is an award winning I wasn't part of the first one. I
31:44
didn't I didn't get any award. All
31:46
the awards. I take all the credit. That that's
31:48
how it works. That's how it works. I
31:51
get all the ideas from other people,
31:53
and then I take all the credit. I have no shame
31:55
in my game. Like Murder Doc and Chill HBO,
31:58
go and blow all of it. The of the ones
32:00
I came up with any proceeds. So
32:02
yes, not, it is not.
32:04
It's not a problem for me to do that.
32:07
I'll just lawyer up and U. Let's is
32:10
that threat taken however
32:12
you want? Okay, sick
32:14
funk of the week or beyond the sick fuck. Judge
32:17
Dean Collins Court is now in session.
32:23
A flight landing in Orlando
32:25
from Colorado Springs took
32:27
off in Colorado Springs, was landing
32:30
in Orlando, Florida. Not good
32:32
to be or not. Once you say Florida,
32:34
you know things are gonna get like Colorado. That's
32:37
cool, But then you're landing in a place you
32:39
don't know if you want to be there. Nothing.
32:42
A fifty nine year old man apparently
32:45
lost control of himself on
32:48
a flight. It's a Frontier
32:51
Airlines flight. Now, these are
32:53
the flights. I've said it once, I've said it
32:55
many times when you were flying uh
32:57
short flights on these now and
33:00
I'm not saying, you know, I'm not questioning anybody's
33:02
pockets and what they could afford, but it
33:05
is documented that on these airlines,
33:07
Frontier and these sort of their ship I
33:09
took Spirit Airlines. Never fucking
33:12
fly Spirit again. Okay, Frontier
33:14
spirit. Okay, but you gotta
33:16
do what you gotta do to fly. Flying is overly
33:18
expensive. A fifty nine year old
33:21
man punched a death pregnant
33:24
woman and
33:28
and her service dog while
33:30
the plane was in the air.
33:33
He punched a death pregnant
33:35
woman and then took a shot at
33:38
her fucking dog. The
33:41
man complained of it as being of being allergic
33:43
to dogs. As the plane descended, and
33:45
when it was being taxi to the gate, he
33:48
got into it or her dog, which is a service
33:50
animal, a great Dane, woke up. Uh.
33:53
He said the dog was taking up more space. Blah
33:55
blah blah blah blah. He started complaining to the deaf
33:57
woman, who probably a lot
33:59
of things were getting lost in translation. He
34:02
punched her and then punched the
34:04
Great Dane, a service dog. Is
34:06
this man a sick funk of the week or
34:08
is he beyond the sick funk of
34:10
the week, Judge Collins, I mean I I couldn't
34:13
hit the gavel harbor on this one of
34:15
of going beyond sick falls. And I'll
34:17
tell you why, because
34:19
you know what, you know why I think I know. I go ahead, No,
34:21
I'm gonna tell you why. There's so many different factors,
34:23
but I thank you, thank you for calling me your honor
34:26
um. But there's so many different factors, but the one thing
34:28
that stands out to me is you're allergic
34:30
to the dog, therefore you punched the dog.
34:32
I'm allergic to fucking grass trees.
34:35
I'm allergic to cats and dogs. You don't see me fucking
34:37
ripping down trees. You don't see me fucking
34:40
attacking dogs. I stay away from
34:42
them. And that you punched the dog who's
34:44
a service animal. You punched a woman,
34:46
And not only did you punch a woman, but you punched
34:48
a pregnant woman who's going to have
34:50
a child, and she's handicapped,
34:53
disabled death. You, my friend,
34:55
should be fucking locked up behind
34:58
bars. I don't want to. You shuldn't see
35:00
the light of day. I don't care. How would
35:02
you give him five?
35:05
Five years? No longer, you're gonna
35:07
get longer than that. Yeah, I want you to get five
35:09
years for each each
35:11
of the factors that you did. So you're getting five pregnant
35:15
woman, you're getting five for hitting
35:17
the dog, and you're getting five for
35:19
doing it to somebody that was handicapped. So
35:21
that's I'm giving. I'm sentencing fifteen years
35:23
to the beyond the sick fuck guilty.
35:26
All right, the sentence has been given out. Um,
35:30
I didn't set this up. I did not set
35:32
this up. Okay, the six
35:35
fox are put on the dock and I present
35:37
them to the judge your honor.
35:40
In Florida again, in
35:42
Marion County, Florida, a
35:45
teacher has been placed on a
35:47
leave of absence as
35:49
wildlife officials are doing an
35:51
investigation. The teacher
35:54
had students drown
35:57
raccoons in cages during
36:00
class as part of an experiment
36:02
and an agriculture class. The
36:05
students, the students did so. Not
36:08
only did he did? He did this happen in class.
36:10
He had the students who as a man
36:12
or a woman who had the students do it. It's a man
36:15
a man in it Forest High School
36:17
UM in Marion County agriculture
36:20
science class. Kids brought home video
36:23
to their parents. Kid parents were like,
36:25
what the funk? Raccoons
36:27
live, raccoons, They're not dead. No,
36:29
And he didn't do it, he had the students do it. But
36:32
I have a question, go ahead and throw it to judge.
36:35
Should we be considering the students that participated
36:38
as six funks of the week too, so it's too
36:40
twofold. Is this teacher sick
36:42
funk of the week beyond sick funk the week? And should
36:44
some of these students be up for consideration
36:47
in this um. I'm gonna go ahead and I'm gonna
36:49
I'm gonna call this one a sick
36:51
funk of the week. I'm not gonna go beyond, but
36:53
I will say that the students are
36:56
are definitely up for consideration because
36:58
listen, when I was in school, what
37:00
happened to dissecting a fucking cat or
37:03
a frog? And you know what, even cats say
37:05
they do that they dissect cats, they're
37:08
dead. I never Okay,
37:10
Ever, it was hard enough for me in seventh
37:12
grade science class to dissect the frog.
37:14
And guess what, I didn't
37:16
want to do that, So I literally I said, hey,
37:18
guys, this is just kind of fun. This is fucked
37:20
up. I'm gonna opt out of this operation. Now.
37:23
If I'm in school today and the guy says I need
37:25
to drown, I need. I want
37:27
to do this and I want all of you guys to do it for
37:29
me, drown fourteen live
37:31
raccoons, I'd be like, hold on, guys, this
37:34
is fucked up. Maybe we just don't
37:36
do the kids and protesting.
37:40
Yeah, yeah, I'm gonna go ahead and say
37:42
the kids are most I'd be
37:44
surprised if one of those kids didn't just
37:46
say, you know what, this is fucked up. I'm gonna leave
37:48
now. This is fucked up. Okay, maybe well
37:51
do your ruling you. I already gave
37:53
the sentencing the kids. The kids, they're
37:55
not up for consideration. They are sick funs.
37:58
The guys a sick funck for making the kids do his
38:00
fucking sick but not beyond. There's no
38:02
beyond there. To me, there's no beyond. It's
38:04
a sick fun though. Okay, fair
38:06
enough, This one is. This one's way
38:08
out there. This one is way out
38:11
there. A Texas doctor
38:14
is accused a false
38:17
diagnosis two dred
38:19
and forty million dollar health care
38:22
scheme, and what he was doing was
38:24
falsely diagnosing patients
38:28
to administer chemo therapy
38:30
and other treatments for people
38:33
who did not need
38:35
it. So he'd give you a false diagnosis,
38:38
give you chemotherapy although you didn't
38:40
need it. But they would come in and say I think I have
38:42
cancer or all sorts of things. He's a roomy
38:45
cancer degenerative diseases,
38:48
authritis. The more diagnosis
38:50
he given the chemo, the more money he would bring bring
38:52
in. The people are sitting there thinking they're
38:54
dying. Chemo is a serious chemotherapy,
38:57
chemotherapy and other medical
39:00
procedures going up to two hundred and
39:02
forty million dollars. This is
39:04
a doctor. People go there thinking thinking,
39:07
you know, this guy's gonna help me, He's gonna save me. I
39:09
could trust them. Thank you, Dr Schmidt,
39:11
Thank you Dr whatever. What's his doctor's name so
39:13
we can get it out, Doctor
39:15
George Zamora who quisite?
39:18
I can't pronounce his fox name. Dr
39:20
George Zamora Quasda. You
39:23
don't need to say anymore. He's beyond sick
39:25
fuck. I mean, how do you how can it not be
39:27
beyond sick fuck? You know, I'm going
39:30
in there for I got a fucking cold and
39:32
the doctor is gonna try and tell me I got cancer, I
39:34
need chemo. I'm sorry, you're sick
39:36
fuck. You're beyond sick fuck. And
39:39
um, that's a that's a life
39:41
imprisonment to me, all right,
39:43
Like you're ruining people's lives by making them go through
39:45
that chemotherapy and false diagnosed. Yeah,
39:47
because you could you, I mean, chemotherapy
39:49
attacks your body. It really
39:52
is a tough procedure to come back from me, like my
39:54
ulsert of collitis. When I have to do like chemo,
39:57
chemotherapy is no jo. And someone might
39:59
say no, well what about and I say over ruled done?
40:03
Next case in Illinois,
40:06
Illinois, Illinois, Illinois.
40:09
Nope, you don't say noise everyone. Everyone
40:11
learns that in like second grade. Never I
40:14
was suspended that week Illinois. In
40:16
Illinois, a man
40:18
stripped down naked, sick fuck.
40:21
Well I didn't finish you first, he said, Illinois.
40:23
Then you said naked man, I say, sick fuck. Okay,
40:26
so he's automatically sick fuck sick fuck
40:28
okay. A man stripped down
40:31
naked outside of Burger
40:33
King because they were closed. Who started
40:36
banging? He said, on the concrete, started banging
40:38
his head on the glass. He was then arrested
40:40
nude outside the Burger King. Is
40:43
this man is sick funk of the week or beyond
40:46
sick fuck? I'm gonna go ahead and and
40:48
and switch things up with this one. At
40:50
first I said he was a sick fun because he said naked.
40:53
But I'd like to say, listen, I've been in
40:55
this situation. You think taco
40:58
bells open, um, they say
41:00
it's open till to one am. You
41:02
get there a fucking one, it's shut. It's
41:04
closed. I'm gonna go ahead and say this guy,
41:07
Um, he's dedicated. He
41:09
he was hungry. He really wanted that burger
41:11
king. I think he may be a sick funk for wanting
41:13
burger king over anything else. But I
41:15
don't think he's a sick fun for stripping naked.
41:18
I don't want to see it. I don't want to see it. But
41:21
I have to give him. Um, I have
41:23
to give him some credit for
41:25
for just really going the extra mile to try
41:27
and get that burger. I mean, look, whoppers.
41:29
Uh, they're good at a certain hour if
41:32
they're closed. And he wants to strip naked and bang his head
41:34
on the wall, that's his problem. Some people may
41:36
look at it as a sick fuck. I say, get it out
41:38
of my courtroom. This is petty shit.
41:40
I don't want to deal with it. Uh, let's
41:42
move on this. This guy sounds like he had
41:44
a bad case of the munchies, and he was a little
41:47
high, and he took things a little too far. Please
41:49
give me something a little bit stronger than
41:51
this man. Not a
41:53
problem, Judge, You're on
41:55
or the next case. Now,
41:58
this is a tragic case, and I don't like to bring
42:00
tragedy, but this is so far
42:03
out and so wacky.
42:06
Um, a man and a
42:08
woman who both look like
42:10
sick fox. And and and when it comes
42:12
down to six Fox of the week, I do judge a
42:14
book by its cover. Okay, okay,
42:16
that's that's how the whole six
42:19
Fox of the week. Uh, we're started. I
42:21
am gonna judge a book by its cover. I said the other
42:24
day. If you have a full face of tattoos
42:26
and a rotting front tooth, I automatically
42:29
say, that's a sick fox. I'm with you. I
42:32
hate to you know, judge, you know shall
42:34
not judge a pass judgment in the Bible
42:37
and the Torah and all that stuff and
42:39
God and then yoga, I get it.
42:41
And you're in my court. You have to tell the truth and nothing
42:43
but the truth. So I do appreciate you saying
42:45
that. Okay, um, final
42:48
case. Uh. And And this was
42:50
presented by a few, not just one,
42:52
a few. I'd say about five different people
42:55
brought this case to me. And
42:57
I'm presenting it to judge, I'm gonna
42:59
have to sa a recess after this. So if we could just get
43:01
this one out. Yes, Now, this woman on
43:04
paper, and I do judge a book by its
43:06
cover doesn't look like
43:08
a true loose sick fox. She's actually attractive,
43:11
Uh, woman like Casey Anthony
43:13
type not but blond,
43:16
like just a kid like a pretty girl
43:18
like you would say on one of your dating apps,
43:21
you you would definitely be like swipe. Yes,
43:23
she'd get more swiped, like we're gonna
43:25
let's hear what she did. Brittany Zamora,
43:28
un married middle school teacher
43:31
Brittany Zamora in Arizona,
43:36
is accused of
43:38
performing oral sex on
43:41
a third team year old
43:44
boy in the school.
43:47
She was flirting with him in classroom chats.
43:50
Other kids said she had been being
43:53
um inappropriate with him
43:55
during school. Uh, then she sent him
43:57
pictures again. She's married.
43:59
This is married woman. She's twenty six year old.
44:01
She's been arrested. She had sex with
44:03
a thirteen year old boy. Now,
44:06
when you were in school, Dean, didn't the teachers ever
44:08
try to have their way with you? You know? No,
44:11
No, they didn't know. Why would
44:13
they? What do you mean why that's
44:15
not why would they? But there was there was a teacher
44:17
named miss Pool. It was really
44:20
hot. If I was fourteen or fifteen,
44:22
that would that would have been a dream for me. But for
44:24
for this case, I would like to say,
44:27
and she's married, and she's married. So imagine
44:29
if your wife is cheating on you, and then you find out
44:31
not only she cheating on it, which is terrible,
44:33
she's cheating on you with a student, okay, bad,
44:36
and then she's cheating on you with a thirteen year
44:38
old. I don't think the marriage thing even has
44:40
to come into play in this. I'm just thinking,
44:43
as the other guy was liked
44:45
honey, I wonder if
44:48
if he was in this courtroom, what would he
44:50
want the judge to say, Judge,
44:52
please, what is your birth on this? We've
44:55
heard these stories so many times and and
44:57
and it is an epidemic, and if the those
45:00
were reversed, might I
45:02
add it would probably get to me. I'm gonna
45:04
just go ahead and say it a little bit more media
45:06
attention, and it's a little bit more controversial.
45:09
A lot of people think that uh, young
45:11
boys like maybe this
45:13
is a predator,
45:16
She's an animal. I'm gonna go ahead and say
45:18
sick fuck. Um, I just
45:21
I can't give the beyond because I've heard it
45:23
so many times. I'm not excusing that.
45:25
But she's twenty six. Um,
45:28
it's fucking disgusting. It's it's it's uh,
45:30
it's statutory rape, right. I mean, if
45:33
her husband was it was with us in this courtroom,
45:36
would you be able to look him in the face
45:38
and say, I am only considering
45:41
your wife a sick fuck and not a beyond.
45:44
That's tough because I can't imagine him. You
45:46
know, he goes, Honey, you cheated on me. I
45:48
need to find this man. Who is he? I'm gonna
45:50
fucking beat him up. And then she goes, well, it's this kid on the
45:52
baseball team and little Tommy,
45:55
you know, he's the second second baseman,
45:57
and you're thinking, fuck, this is
45:59
the fucking guy. At that point, I don't
46:01
know what I would do. You know, what do you tell your friends? So
46:04
my heart goes out to him, out of everybody,
46:06
and my heart goes out to the to the child because thirteen
46:08
is really fucking young. And uh,
46:11
the woman's a pig. She's a fucking
46:13
pig, um, and and she should
46:15
definitely be behind bars. I can't give the lock
46:17
her up. I say, lock her up for a minimum
46:20
of ten years UM
46:22
and a maximum of thirty. I think she can
46:24
maybe change her ways, but she's
46:26
gonna go ahead and go onto the sick funck
46:28
of the week and not beyond. Um.
46:31
That's it. I need to get lunched. This court is a journey.
46:34
Alright. Well, Judge Collins, thank
46:36
you once again for joining us on another
46:39
award winning segment of Sick Funk of the Week
46:41
or beyond Sick Fuck. That's
46:44
cool that that goes that time for sure.
46:48
Alright, the judge made his decisions.
46:51
I don't argue with the judge. Uh,
46:53
the Honorable Judge Dean Collins. Sick
46:55
Funk of the Week or beyond. The
46:57
courtroom is now closed. Uh
47:00
coming up next, I promise
47:02
you. This is a ship talking extravaganza
47:05
from the Oakland Raiders offensive
47:08
tackle pro bowler Donald
47:11
Penn. Yeah,
47:15
chest test test and we get a test. Donald, Alright,
47:19
alright, alright, I'm hyped about
47:21
this podcast. I'm a fan. I'm
47:24
a fan of the way you play. I'm a fanily the way you carry
47:26
yourself. You're a vet. Donald
47:30
Penn covering
47:33
the blind Side of the hundred million dollar man.
47:36
Derek Carr, thank you for rock with me on the Iron
47:38
Wrap Coors Stereo Podcast. It's crazy
47:40
you're a fan because I'm a fan, Because
47:43
I'm a fan, man. I'm a fan from all
47:45
back in the day, all your working man, So I'm
47:48
a big fan. So this is surreal. Alright,
47:50
Well, I appreciate I appreciate it. First of all,
47:53
um, before we get into football,
47:55
you played basketball in
47:58
high school? You were All state,
48:01
All city wall What I was All city
48:03
in all state? Um, my senior year
48:05
in football and basketball. I grew
48:07
up thinking I was gonna go to the NBA. Man, that was my dream.
48:10
My dad played basketball, didn't play football to sophomn
48:12
year high school, and uh, you know it
48:14
just picked up. Well, Uh, I stopped
48:16
getting taller, so I had to had to pick one. And you
48:18
know, not too many schools were coming at me for
48:20
basketball. Had a lot more schools coming from the football.
48:23
So and I kind of chose football and it worked
48:25
out for me. How how to all are you? I'm six
48:27
five, so so for basketball that's a two
48:29
guard. Maybe you know, fifteen years ago
48:31
that could be a three. You
48:34
know, maybe if you're sick, sick sick. That's
48:36
a Charles Barkley power forward. But that that was I
48:38
mean, he's a freak. That's crazy. That's what they's calling me. It's
48:40
called me baby Barkley. Were you like a Barkley. Yeah,
48:42
he's called me baby Barkley. That's how I got my That's
48:44
how I transitioned so well in the football because of my
48:46
basketball background. You know, I got I got great
48:49
feet. I called my feet sweet feet. You know, man, I got great
48:51
feet. Um, And I feel like that's because of my basketball
48:53
background. And I played a lot of basketball in all season
48:55
two. So when you played in your primary playing
48:58
basketball, you could you could done can all
49:00
that. I started duck in the college. Really,
49:02
it's crazy. I started dug in to college. You know. When I first
49:05
got to college, Um, you know that
49:07
that different way program, and I lost
49:09
a little bit more weight, and then I was doing some ridiculous
49:11
stuff in college. I was like, damn, I was I was doing this in high
49:13
school. So so you still play ball, yeah
49:16
I do. I'm I'm recovering from my andrew So this is the first
49:18
all season I haven't been able to do it because I had surgery
49:20
in December. But using on all season.
49:22
As soon as I get back out here hopping
49:24
adult league with my boys, and I'll
49:27
play, you know, once a week. Then sometimes on Saturdays,
49:29
I go twenty four hour play pick up games. Yeah,
49:31
that would be you. I mean, I'm sure you could play, but
49:33
I mean a pick and roll with you. So
49:35
that's a that's a that's a fucking pick. Running into
49:37
you, that's a pick. It's definitely a pick. Now. I love
49:40
basketball, man, I mean it's
49:42
still my love. Like I think I thought I retired,
49:44
I would coach basketball for football. Okay,
49:46
So NFL players, I mean you
49:48
see videos of like these dudes and you'll see
49:50
them at like I celebrity games. I've played with guys
49:53
in celebrity games throughout your years
49:55
in the NFL. What NFL players
49:58
legitimately have basketball
50:00
game? Like? Who could play? It's gotta be the receivers
50:03
like some of these dudes now they're like these receivers
50:05
are like two guards. You got one now, Martavis Bryant,
50:08
So what what dude to have you seen that could playball?
50:10
Quarterbacks? Who who got Marie Cooper
50:13
got some game? Uh? DC got
50:15
their car got some game too. He'd be surprised.
50:17
He got a nice little shot. Man, DC got some game,
50:20
you know, Marie Cooper. Who
50:22
else? Uh,
50:24
there's a couple other guys ain't coming to my my hair
50:27
right now. But a lot of guys in in NFL
50:29
could play. I mean they do it, do an all scene.
50:31
But you gotta watch it so much now because you know all
50:33
these injuries and stuff and and everything is
50:35
a little tough. But you know, when I play, I just don't
50:37
think about it. I just I just go out there and play because
50:40
you know, I love and you understand basketball
50:42
a totally different shape in football. So you know, when
50:44
I get out there and run, like my body is
50:46
way more sore than it is at
50:48
the football game. A different
50:50
movements, different you know, jumping and stuff,
50:53
I'm done. I'm like, I'm like, man, you know,
50:56
I'm hurting more than I did when I played football.
50:58
So who you got? We're in the play off now,
51:00
NBA, uh Calves,
51:03
Celtics, Golden State
51:05
Warriors. What's your prediction?
51:07
Like? Who do you like? Who do you I mean? Lebron Is,
51:09
I mean, we don't need to talk about this, dude. This
51:12
dude is I've never seen anything
51:14
like it. Where's your head at? With the playoffs.
51:16
Since you're you love ball Lakers, listen,
51:20
man, listen that conversation. Let's
51:22
we put that on pause. You guys are
51:24
on pause with the rest of the Lakers
51:26
all day now. But I gotta you know, I play
51:28
in Oakland, man, so I gotta stay with Golden State,
51:30
right, you know, k D and Clay they're good
51:33
friends and stuff. So and I feel
51:35
like whoever comes out the West, I feel like the Houston
51:37
and Golden State is the finals.
51:40
That series is the finals. Whoever one is that they win in
51:42
at all, That's how I feel. I want Golden State to win
51:44
so bad. I want them to beat the
51:46
ship out of Houston. And then I want them
51:49
to and and then although I want
51:51
Lebron to lose to Boston, my
51:53
favorite scenario is them losing
51:55
the Golden State again four
51:57
games. Sweet beat their asses and Boston
52:00
really surprised me. I think they're gonna make it this far with all the injuries
52:02
they went through, Like, Boston really surprised. Meg got some good
52:04
momentum going and a good coach. Yeah, exactly,
52:06
they got the young players are really stepping up and playing
52:08
good for him. But I'm I'm like you I
52:11
think, Um, you know, it's gonna be hard to um beat
52:13
Golden State in the way Steath came back in the way that
52:15
jail and it's gonna be tough. Um. Alright,
52:17
So coaches, speaking of coaches, you
52:19
guys, uh just acquired one of
52:21
the most charismatic, famous, biggest
52:24
personalities. You know, he won the
52:26
Super Bowl. He coached you with Tampa Um
52:29
and then he became like, you know, a
52:31
megastar, mega personality with
52:33
his Grooden camps and just his way. And you
52:36
don't know, is this guy bullshit with his face? Like
52:38
because sometimes I watch Grouden, I'm like, is he
52:40
fucking around like this? He doesn't know that his face
52:42
looks like that when he's on TV, But I guess
52:44
he seems so. He's
52:46
so much loves football and he's so
52:48
intense and he seems like he's
52:51
almost elated by talking
52:53
about football. Tell me what
52:55
John Gruden is like, man,
52:58
Um, He's a football maniac.
53:01
He's a football brains and football
53:03
head. I mean, he he'll going to meeting
53:06
sometime and he'll control the whole meeting.
53:08
He'll tell every single person their job, from
53:10
my job to the receiver to the quarterbacks,
53:12
reads to the center, to everything,
53:14
and he brings so much intense intensity
53:17
and passion. It's like it's like,
53:19
man, it's like, man, you want to play for this guy? You're like,
53:21
man, you know the way he comes and the way he talks
53:23
away, he carries himself and and
53:25
brings that energy. It's like a different energy. You know. It's
53:27
like that when I was in UM Tampa
53:29
and then you know, now with him
53:31
being away from football, it felt like his
53:33
knowledge just took like ten steps
53:36
ten steps forward. You know, he got so much he studied.
53:38
He'dn't studying football for so long, and now
53:40
it's just like it's just
53:42
like I can't wait to get stuff started. Like you know,
53:44
we had a little mini camp a couple of weeks ago,
53:47
and he was even saying he was like he's like he was like,
53:49
funk, this office is gonna be good, Like you know what I mean,
53:51
like like like we're gonna be good. We got some weapons
53:53
and the stuff he's um doing and the coaching
53:56
staff he brought in, Like he he brought a couple
53:58
of former head coaches. You know, UM coach Tom
54:00
came was my online coach. He's doing the run.
54:02
UM I think we don't better run the ball very well, and
54:05
you know it's gonna set up everything we got. We got some good
54:07
weapons. But he's he's he's
54:09
a manni when he comes to football, he's gonna he's
54:11
gonna coach you hard, but he's gonna love you and
54:13
he's gonna get the most out of you. That's that's
54:15
cool, is well, what do you think
54:17
it's like? Now you're a vet, but you know,
54:20
you've got some of these kids that are twenty two,
54:22
twenty three years old, they don't know
54:24
John Gruden. They grew up watching him in the booth.
54:26
To them, he's like a celebrity. You know, it's almost
54:29
like, if not the same, but like Stephen
54:31
A. Smith, like they don't they didn't see him as a coach.
54:33
What do you think it's like for these young kids when
54:36
they got this guy here who's the star, Like you
54:38
know, Derek Carr is a star, coop
54:41
as a star, you're a star. But like as far
54:43
as like recognizability, John Gruden
54:45
is a big What do you think it's like for for your your rookies,
54:47
your second year place, when you got this charismatic
54:50
guy who they've been watching their whole life, and now all of a
54:52
sudden he's their coach. I mean, I think they
54:54
gotta yeah, it's great. I think they gotta
54:56
walk into kinda and all at first, and then you
54:58
know, once he starts talking to him and starts talking
55:01
football, they're like, okay, okay, he's
55:03
a coach. He he he ain't just a
55:05
TV personality. He's he's a coach. He
55:07
he knows his stuff, he knows
55:09
what he's talking about, you know, and uh, you
55:11
know when he when he comes in, he's a he's a great player
55:13
coach, you know. Not to me, some coaches aren't player coaches,
55:16
you know what I mean. He's a great player coach, and he could
55:18
he could be a player coach and be be
55:20
serious at the same time and handle stuff. You know.
55:22
But but you know, I know
55:24
him. He probably you know, when the young guys come in, he probably
55:26
all right, it's the reality checks over. Now let's get
55:28
the work. You know, I'm John Gruding, it's over.
55:31
I was on TV on that. But now I need to get the
55:33
most out of you. Let me see what we're you're gonna be best
55:35
at. Let me see where I can use you. Let's get the work
55:37
because all he wants to do is win. And you
55:39
know, he got a big chip on his shoulder right now coming in.
55:41
You know a lot of people are doubting him, you know, saying
55:43
he shouldn't deserve all that money, and um, you know he's
55:45
bringing in a group of guys to to back up
55:48
his stuff. So so so we could be good. And you
55:50
know, I'm happy he's back in football. You know, one thing he
55:52
told me when he first got the job, when we talked, he was like, man,
55:54
Donald, He's like, I missed the game. I
55:57
missed the game. Yeah, And um
55:59
I was like yeah, um, you know, the meetings are
56:01
the means are fun. You know, listen to him. He's
56:04
fired up. He'll he'll show some old clips,
56:06
some guys, some new clips and stuff here. He'll
56:09
he'll go through stuff like places we put in his show.
56:11
He'll show Jerry Rice doing it. He'll he'll show um
56:13
Tim Brown doing it, you know, and it's just stuff
56:15
like that. He gets guys motivated, gets guys going
56:18
it, gets guys wanted to play for him. That's dope. Like
56:20
So it's really like that that enthusiasm that
56:22
we saw as a broadcaster. You're getting that firsthand
56:24
as a coach and you're getting all the details and
56:26
the special sauce and all that stuff.
56:29
And he was like that before he got into broadcast too. He
56:31
was the same way. When we're in Tampa. He he control
56:33
means, he he got is fired up.
56:36
You know, he's he's a great guy. And
56:38
um, you know, I'm really happy to be able to get another
56:41
round with him. That's dope. I
56:43
mean, I don't know, like they keep putting you out the
56:45
pastor you know that's the end of Donald
56:47
Penn. Uh he's holding out. Uh,
56:49
you know, as he's worth the money. You know,
56:52
Tampa Bay didn't want to pay you Oakland,
56:54
they hold out. Do you imagine yourself
56:57
this whole thing? Now, I'm I'm a New York Giant Chip, but
57:00
everybody loves the Raiders. Everybody
57:02
loves the Raiders. Do you
57:04
imagine yourself making it too when they
57:06
get to Vegas? And how do you feel about
57:09
as like you grew up as a fan. For me,
57:12
it's sacrilegious. This is just me
57:14
talking now. I don't want to get you involved with
57:16
this ship, but this is it's sacrilegious
57:18
that the Oakland Raiders are not
57:21
in Oakland, they're gonna wind up playing
57:23
in fucking Las Vegas. First of all,
57:25
well, what is your opinion on that? Second of all, you're
57:27
you're you're a vet, but you've got a twenty one year
57:29
old kid. He doesn't know where the funk he is. He's
57:32
from, you know, backwoods, wherever, swamp,
57:34
and then he's in Vegas. He's got,
57:36
you know, a million dollar contract. Anything
57:39
can happen to these kids. So well, what is your your take
57:41
on on the Raiders leaving Oakland?
57:43
They're so that's like the fucking didn't the New
57:45
York Yankees leaving the Bronx, you
57:48
know what I mean. I know they came in now l A. But it's like, the Oakland
57:50
Raiders deserve to be in Oakland. I don't care if the fans
57:53
travel or not. To me, that's funked
57:55
up. Now.
57:57
You know. I grew up a Raider fan, So it's like it's like some
58:00
real you know, it's a dream come true,
58:02
me playing for the team I grew up for. But you
58:04
know, a little disappointed when I when I found that out. I'm
58:06
not gonna lie a sugarcoat, you know. Uh. One
58:08
thing that we're trying to make sure we do. We're trying to make sure we bring
58:11
a championship to Oakland before we leave. You know,
58:13
lead with a banging And you
58:15
know, from what I heard and from what I talked
58:18
to with Mr Davis, you know he tried to do everything possible
58:20
to get a new stadium in Oakland. Our stadium is
58:22
bad. It's it's from the
58:24
eighties, right bad. And um,
58:26
you know he heard he tried his hardest
58:29
to do what he wanted to stand Oakland tried his hardest.
58:31
And you know, one thing bout Mr Davis man, he loves
58:33
his team, he loves his players. So if
58:35
he's making this decision, he's making the right decision.
58:38
And you know, I'm a support him and back then though, but
58:40
I am a little sad that we're leaving Oakland, you know, because
58:42
it's it's gonna be tough. It's gonna be like
58:44
you said, it's gonna be a different adjustment.
58:46
You know, I don't think I'm gonna make it to Oakland. I only plan
58:48
on playing two more years. You know, I'm gonna I want
58:50
to be around for me, I want to be around my kids more often
58:53
and stuff like that. So you know, I I
58:55
told him, I got two more years on me. This contract is probably
58:57
gonna be my last, and uh you know when when
59:00
ever, No, I'm not gonna I'm not like going to him. He said,
59:02
don't predict this player, but all the next two years and we'll
59:04
see what happens. But you know, I want to give him my
59:06
all these last to try to get the championship. But
59:08
it's gonna be a hard adjustment. Um, going
59:10
to Vegas, like you said, for them young kids, you know, coming
59:12
in with a pocket full of money, all that temptation, you
59:15
know, all the not even temptation, just that the
59:17
tables, gambling, like the whole thing. You know. The
59:20
clubs out there stay open five in the morning. You
59:22
know, I think the five in the morning. I think
59:24
some of them ship's opening five, you know, trying
59:26
to you know, but um, I heard they're gonna our
59:28
facilities gonna be far away from the strip over there. Listen,
59:32
Like, if it's fifty man, how far could it
59:34
possibly be. That's funny. They're
59:36
gonna try to put it. Well, I guess they have to put it because
59:39
it's logistically right. Yeah, but you know what, I
59:41
think they're gonna have a good plan you know,
59:43
they don't have some good people around, you know, to help
59:45
with the go with the guys and stuff like that. And then you
59:47
know, one thing that's want that we want to do. You
59:50
know, I might have to stick around because they might. They're gonna
59:52
need that veteran presence, you know, to talk these guys
59:54
down and you know, get these guys as good as ample showing
59:56
what they should and shouldn't do. So it's gonna
59:58
be a tough it's go a tough adjustment, but
1:00:01
you know, I think it's I think it's gonna be a good thing for uh,
1:00:04
for for the players. Shoot, they get the thirteen
1:00:06
percent raised just going to Vegas with no
1:00:08
state tax, right, So that
1:00:10
that's gonna put a little something to somebody's eyes.
1:00:12
No matter what I know, DC, he probably
1:00:15
like, shoot that all that money take out taxes for my contract.
1:00:17
I'm gonna I'm gonna live it back, won't go to Vegas.
1:00:19
Right. Um, So I
1:00:21
said, you're you're thirty five now, man,
1:00:24
I'm twenty eight for life for
1:00:26
life? Have you been before your
1:00:28
how how old you just turn? You just
1:00:30
turned thirty five? And this this season two thousand
1:00:33
eighteen, two thousand is your what's fifteen
1:00:36
thirteen season? Like
1:00:38
I said, you got a big contract
1:00:40
in Tampa Bay, you get released. You
1:00:42
know, every last year you had to hold
1:00:45
out for money. This year and
1:00:47
listen, you gotta build for the future. You can only go for
1:00:49
someone they draft, you know, these these
1:00:51
star alignment what
1:00:55
is it gonna like? Do you feel like like they're
1:00:57
trying to get rid of you? The NFL is trying to give you Like
1:01:00
you're as far as beating the odds in football.
1:01:02
I mean, it's rare that alignment plays
1:01:05
as long as you have I mean,
1:01:07
it's a blessing. It's luck, it's hard work.
1:01:09
It's just never getting that terrible injury.
1:01:12
Uh, do you get resentful? Like when
1:01:14
you have to hold out for money, do you get resentful? I
1:01:17
mean, I guess when they're drafting young dudes, that's that's
1:01:19
smart because you you suffered an injury and they
1:01:21
have to build for the future. But what is your take
1:01:23
on Like do you sometimes like, yeah, why are you guys trying to
1:01:25
get rid of me? I don't give up Sacks.
1:01:27
It's tough because you know,
1:01:30
even in Tampa I had to hold out to get a deal. Oakland
1:01:32
to hold out to get a deal. It's like I always gotta fight
1:01:34
for it. You know, I play my butt off
1:01:36
and stuff, and you know a lot of these other guys, they
1:01:39
only play as good as me and they just get handed all this Money's
1:01:41
I gotta fight for mine. But you know, it
1:01:43
is what it is. You know, I wish,
1:01:45
I wish I could do it different. I wish I wish
1:01:48
it didn't have to come to me holding out, you know what I mean.
1:01:50
I wish it would just play out. But you
1:01:52
know, I use this motivation. Man. You know, I came in undrafted
1:01:54
free agent, you know, on the start a hunting seventy straight games.
1:01:57
You know, so it's gonna be hard, Um, come
1:02:00
titians? What what? What? What drives me? So you
1:02:02
know, once I get back from the injury, I'm gonna compete.
1:02:04
Uh. You know, they got these young guys in. There's
1:02:07
no there's not gonna be no hard feelings because I love
1:02:09
d C and I love the team. So you
1:02:11
know, I'm gonna try to get those young guys right and
1:02:13
take them under my wing when I am done, because
1:02:15
I'm not gonna I'm going I'm not going out without a fight, you
1:02:17
know. So when I am done. I want to make sure you
1:02:19
know, this first round pick he gets all
1:02:22
my tips, everything I got in my back pocket. I'm gonna letm
1:02:24
know everything, you know, so when he does get in there,
1:02:26
you know he could protect my guy DC like
1:02:29
I do, because you know, at the end of the day, man DC always
1:02:31
gonna be friends, you know what I mean. And when I meet
1:02:33
this guy this week coming up, you know we're gonna we're gonna be good
1:02:35
friends. You know, they told me they want me to take him under my wing,
1:02:37
you know, teach them everything, and you know I'm
1:02:39
gonna do it. But you know, in the day, I'm gonna compete
1:02:42
my butt off. That's all I've been doing in this league. I always
1:02:44
fought for everything. I compete in my butt off for everything,
1:02:46
and like I said, nothing was given to me. So
1:02:48
that's my mentality. You know, I fight, I fight,
1:02:51
I fight, and I'm I'm gonna I'm
1:02:53
gonna go down swinging. Do you do? So when
1:02:55
you say compete, it's really just like to compete
1:02:57
to show you're healthy, compete to show you're still
1:02:59
all pro level. It's not necessarily
1:03:01
compete against him. It's really just at
1:03:03
this point with you to like show that like you're
1:03:06
you come back from this foot injury and you
1:03:08
still basically got it or basically used
1:03:10
to you summed it up so right, you know, basically
1:03:12
I still got it. You know you gotta understand. Um,
1:03:15
you know, when I went my whole career, every time
1:03:17
I've been like, I never had a solid backup because
1:03:19
I don't miss any games. And I think the Raiders
1:03:22
kind of saw that last year when I went down. They're like, damn,
1:03:24
you know, if something happens, we gotta have
1:03:27
something. Something. They're playing for
1:03:29
my hundred twenty million dollar guy, you know,
1:03:31
um, and we got to play for the future.
1:03:33
I'm not gonna lie when. Um, you know, I'm
1:03:36
first gonna tell you when. As soon as when as soon as
1:03:38
I saw the drop that I called grew and immediately like
1:03:40
what the fuck? You know what I mean? He and Ashen
1:03:42
I saw the next Monday, He's like he's he's like he's ready
1:03:44
to kick my ass. He was like joking, He's like,
1:03:46
you like kick my ass. And I was like, man I man,
1:03:48
I said, I'm good. Now. You know, I'm an
1:03:50
emotional dude. That's what makes me, uh
1:03:53
such a good player. Because I played with emotion, you know what
1:03:55
I mean. I feel like that's what it helped me out throughout
1:03:57
the career. But I ain't gonna lie. I called grew and as soon as that, like,
1:04:00
what the fund you guys doing? I can't do the hen and
1:04:02
answer. And then when I saw him money he jumping around me.
1:04:04
He was like he was ready to kick my assh down, her
1:04:07
down, he said, you know what I mean, explained everything
1:04:09
to me and stuff. That's one thing I like about him
1:04:11
till he keeps it real with you, man, keep you
1:04:14
can't. You know, it's it's
1:04:16
rare where you got a guy that that does that, especially
1:04:18
ahead coach exactly. I know him for well. We
1:04:21
joked around, you know, I was in his office
1:04:23
and we joked around about it. What he kept saying.
1:04:25
He's like he was mad at the motherfucker. He was ready
1:04:27
to kick my eye. I was like, I kind of that's coach. I kind
1:04:29
of love. He's like, yeah, that's why, He's like, that's why I an answer,
1:04:31
That's why an answer. But you
1:04:34
know, uh, now now talking to them and
1:04:36
seeing um them telling me to play and seeing
1:04:38
uh what happened and stuff, you know I'm good with I
1:04:40
mean, I was good with it, you know later on that day. But
1:04:42
to me, it was funny. I was watching the draft my son, my
1:04:45
nine year old. He loves football. He always
1:04:47
on NFL network and we were like waiting
1:04:49
on the draft, and he looked at me said, yeah,
1:04:52
you get they're getting rid of you. I
1:04:54
said, ship son, I don't know, but
1:04:58
that's funny. But yeah, now because I can sit
1:05:01
back and laugh about it though. But first of my song, like,
1:05:03
I was like, I was like, what the fun like, you
1:05:05
know, they're like first round. I'm like, I said,
1:05:07
we gotta dress right off the top right,
1:05:10
that's funny. So so how how
1:05:12
are you feeling? Uh? And what is it called the Liz
1:05:14
Frank injury? Who's that named after? Like a skater?
1:05:17
What is it called? I forgot? I forgot. The doctor explained
1:05:19
it to me before he did my surgery where it came from. But
1:05:21
that was right when I was in Um, I had the end a stage
1:05:24
out right after, so I don't remember what he said, but
1:05:26
it's it's named after somebody, You're right, Um,
1:05:28
I think it is a hockey player skate or something like
1:05:30
that. I think it is. Uh, But yeah, I fractured
1:05:33
like four balls in my foot and two of my list. Frank Um,
1:05:35
you the first person getting an update on my injury. Man,
1:05:38
I'm I'm doing good and I'm doing everything they
1:05:40
want me to do. It it's just different. This is my first
1:05:42
major injury I've had in my career. Alignment.
1:05:46
That's such a blessing. I mean for football
1:05:48
player in general, but for alignment. You guys always
1:05:50
get those people falling under you.
1:05:53
I mean, that's a fucking blessing. And I was mad
1:05:55
too, because you know, I had a hundred sementi um
1:05:57
straight star streak and I just passed Joe
1:05:59
Tom It's because he he got hurt
1:06:01
earlier in the year and I just passed them and then I
1:06:04
got hurt. I'm like, damn, you know, I had had the
1:06:06
streak going. But you know, I'm doing everything
1:06:08
they're telling me and do everything's going good. The
1:06:10
first rating thing is I've never been hurt,
1:06:13
and I want to do so much more, and they keep telling me,
1:06:15
you know, trust the process, trust the process, and I'm
1:06:17
listening. I'm like, man,
1:06:19
it's hard. I'm listening though, but it's like I want
1:06:21
to do more, and they're like man, just chill, just chill.
1:06:24
We're gonna we want you for training camp, you
1:06:26
know, during the season. We don't need you now. But as
1:06:28
I'm used to being out there with the guys. You know, I'm
1:06:30
in the back while practice, I'm
1:06:33
calling out my assignments and stuff. I'd
1:06:35
rather be out there. But I'm listening. I'm
1:06:37
not being hard hereuse I want to do a lot more than
1:06:40
they're letting me. But I am listening because
1:06:42
I know they know what's best, and you know, my
1:06:44
age and everything. I want to come back strong, you
1:06:46
know, I want to. I just want to win these
1:06:48
last two years. Man, Just have fun and win man, you
1:06:50
know, and champ. You know, it's up and down. When I
1:06:52
first got to the ratings, you know when one
1:06:54
thing I first thing I said, when my first interview, I
1:06:56
said, you know, I want to bring the Raiders back
1:06:58
to greatness, and you know I
1:07:00
have. But the mission is not not done yet. It's not
1:07:03
completely Super Bowls completely. You know, we got back to
1:07:05
the playoffs. You know I helped that. Uh.
1:07:07
You know, regim Ckenson did a great job drafting these
1:07:09
young guys, these young guys in and they've
1:07:11
been jailing the Khalil and d C. That
1:07:14
was a man. I was a knockout hit,
1:07:16
you know what I mean? Um them back to
1:07:18
back, first second round, and you know,
1:07:20
we we we gotta we. We
1:07:22
are disappointed with how we played last year.
1:07:25
And you know, a groom coming in and
1:07:27
us being upset with how the season went last
1:07:30
year. It's like everything's jailing and falling
1:07:32
place. But we still got a lot of work ahead of us. We still
1:07:34
got a long way to go. Derek Carr, I mean,
1:07:37
I love the way he plays. Uh,
1:07:39
you know, he's tough. I
1:07:42
love his story. You know, I'm a fan of his hundred
1:07:44
million dollars. First of all, When he gets a
1:07:46
hundred million dollars, are you like when you guys are on the road,
1:07:49
you're at dinner, like, don't look at me, like you
1:07:51
pull that fucking credit card out a hundred million
1:07:53
dollars, you know, d see
1:07:55
he take care of his guys. Man, he take care of He
1:07:57
messed one all the time. I said, you saw
1:07:59
a Matt Ryan just got so when you get that second
1:08:02
deal to just buy me a car, it could
1:08:04
be used. I don't want nothing too big, to
1:08:06
give me a little, a little little health cat or something,
1:08:08
you know what I mean. I always joking up about that,
1:08:11
and he always be laughing like DV. Like DV, always
1:08:14
joking about that. But you know, one thing about d
1:08:16
C takes care of us. Man. He takes care of his guys. You know this
1:08:18
his great Christmas gifts every year. And
1:08:21
uh, if we do go to dinner and he's yere,
1:08:23
he'll he'll take the bill. But you know, DC, he
1:08:25
studies so much. I mean, he's the first guy in
1:08:27
the um, in the um
1:08:30
the facility. You know, he's one of the last guys
1:08:32
to leave, you know. So when we do go to dinner,
1:08:34
sometimes he does miss a lot. He's like, hey, get
1:08:36
to sleep. You know, I'm up early in the morning. And
1:08:39
when you do do online dinners and stuff, like one
1:08:41
time he came. He came just from the beginning
1:08:43
for about thirty minutes and then just show face what
1:08:45
you appreciate, thanks for coming, you know what
1:08:47
I mean. We understand they had to go home, like, you know, I gotta
1:08:49
get up early. You're not gonna get in there getting in the book. So
1:08:52
so one thing ABOUTDC studied hard. He's a
1:08:55
you know man, um, he's he's a
1:08:57
great guy. He's a great player. Like I got a lot
1:08:59
of admirations for d See, like like you know, I mean I talked
1:09:01
holly about him because I really feel like, you know,
1:09:03
he's gonna be one of those great quarterbacks that we're
1:09:05
gonna be talking about from years to come. His
1:09:08
injuries, you know, like last
1:09:10
year he had injury the year before when you guys
1:09:12
were cooking, when he goes
1:09:14
down, Uh, Like
1:09:17
can you guys even recover from that?
1:09:19
Like it's so rare that, like you know what happened and feeling
1:09:21
like a guy comes in there he's is good or
1:09:23
playing, you know, sometimes even better like Derek.
1:09:27
Uh, you know, the injuries have been such a burden. Um,
1:09:30
how frustrating has that been? Like even not
1:09:33
in two thousands six, two thousand seventeen,
1:09:35
like when he went down when you guys were rocking and rolling
1:09:38
it. I mean it definitely like it screwed everybody
1:09:40
up. I mean that one, that one always sticks
1:09:42
to my head. I won't ever forget that one. Um. I
1:09:45
it was late in the season. I don't gave a sack
1:09:47
the whole season, and I'm blocking my guy and all of a sudden,
1:09:49
my foot just slips from under me and I
1:09:52
fall and he gets sacked and this first
1:09:54
second, I give up all year and he gets my quarterback
1:09:57
out for the year. Like was that the injury? Yeah?
1:09:59
And then my quarterback out for the year, and uh,
1:10:02
you know it's crazy. The same steps I take all
1:10:04
the time. I've been killing this dude all game,
1:10:07
and all of a sudden, I'm turning running my foot
1:10:09
just just stepped in the grass
1:10:11
and just boom. I felt right on my face, you
1:10:13
know what I mean. I just felt right on my slipped
1:10:15
out my hand and then d C told me he said
1:10:17
he he wished he would just went down. He said he tried to
1:10:20
fight out of it, and that's when he tried to get
1:10:22
out of it, when he tried to keep
1:10:24
going. He said, I should just went down. And you
1:10:26
know, I think DC learned from that. You know, sometimes
1:10:28
if you notice in the games, you know what I mean, if you
1:10:30
know he's gonna get stacked and something breaking
1:10:32
down here, he'll just he'll just go go down instead
1:10:34
of trying to fight stuff. Like, you know, I think he learned
1:10:36
from that. And then, uh, you know the one the one
1:10:38
um last year when he when he got his back, that was just crazy.
1:10:40
It was off a play action. You know, we're all running,
1:10:43
um, you know, using the balls out quick
1:10:45
and you know they came back and that was just a
1:10:47
freak one and uh he went
1:10:49
down to like he did. But the dude, you know, the lineman
1:10:51
fell with me and knee hit him in the back. It's
1:10:53
just um freak injurgy. But but one
1:10:56
thing about d C. You know, everybody like tried to he's
1:10:58
a tough son of a bit. Of course, he's a tough
1:11:00
motherfucker. Like like they don't know that. I know that
1:11:02
he's a tough dude. Like he's a tough, tough
1:11:04
dude. It's just been unfortunate, man,
1:11:06
Like you said, that year, the first year, he got hurt,
1:11:09
like we were rolling, we were rolling, we were
1:11:11
run. Then I got hurt. The next game, I couldn't
1:11:13
play in the playoffs. That was only my second time making
1:11:15
the playoffs in my my twelve year career.
1:11:17
So that was that was tough. And uh,
1:11:20
but you know, I think they gotta plan. Now, you know, they gotta
1:11:22
plan. You gotta have a plan, just like they gotta plan for
1:11:24
for for me, you know, bringing in these young guys
1:11:27
in case something happens. And I think that's why they're
1:11:29
bringing in these young guys now too, so because they know
1:11:31
we gotta protect the see, we gotta keep him up
1:11:33
right. Because when he's upright, he's doing
1:11:35
this thing and we're rolling, rocking and rolling. Um,
1:11:38
Marshawn Lynch beast Mode. I
1:11:40
mean, this is a person that people probably ask you about
1:11:43
him all the time. My boy, man, Well what is
1:11:45
he like? What's his fucking deal? Is he
1:11:47
coming back? Like? I mean, he's like everybody loves
1:11:49
best mode. Um. Last year he had
1:11:52
flashes of you know, beast Mode,
1:11:54
but it was just a frustrating year across the board.
1:11:57
As a Raider fan and I am a Raider fan. What
1:11:59
is he like as a person, and what is it like blocking
1:12:01
for him? And what is it like when he's when he is cooking,
1:12:04
you know, when he comes through the whole, he's
1:12:07
straight East Oakland. He's Straighthood.
1:12:11
I've known him for a while, even before
1:12:13
he got uh to the Raiders. I played
1:12:15
with his cousin Tampa and we
1:12:17
got real close. But you know, I love
1:12:20
these small I love his mentality, you
1:12:22
know, Um, you know, sometimes his
1:12:24
mentality gets a little too much like ever. But he got a
1:12:26
chill. But that's him and he ain't gonna change
1:12:28
for nobody. That's one thing I love about
1:12:31
him. But like you said, he's been
1:12:33
there every day this offseason program. He's
1:12:35
been working his butt off. He's been working harder
1:12:38
than I thought. I was even messing and I was like, I
1:12:40
called him my son. I was like, damn, son, he's been
1:12:43
every day. I said, Daddy, proud of you know what I mean? I said, I sound
1:12:45
proud of and
1:12:47
he'd like, chill son, chill sothing. But uh, now
1:12:49
he's been there every day. He's been working hard.
1:12:51
I was in the lunch room Thursday
1:12:54
leaving and he was sitting down with his new fullback
1:12:57
watching film, going through, you know, tell
1:12:59
him what he likes to read, what you know. I
1:13:01
was like, damn, I said, you never did that last you know, we
1:13:03
always looking around joke. Aros said, you never
1:13:05
did that last year. I said, man, I said, I said, my son
1:13:07
growing up? You know what I mean, like I was growing heybody,
1:13:11
don't talk to your daddy like that. You know we're going back and forth,
1:13:13
but uh, but he's on and you know what
1:13:15
we got. Uh, you know, one of the big big
1:13:17
hires that that guys are really sleeping on
1:13:19
is our online took coach Tom Cable. Okay,
1:13:22
why because he's he's a great online
1:13:24
coach. You know, how do you like at this point
1:13:26
you like you know that, But
1:13:29
explain what that means to to someone
1:13:31
like me. Because offensive line, it's
1:13:33
like we could see here and be like I played wide receiver, I played
1:13:35
two way in touch, I played flag football. Offensive
1:13:38
line is it like you either played offensive line
1:13:40
or you don't know anything about it. I don't do a fun how
1:13:42
much studying you do? Like,
1:13:45
you know, it's like you could play basketball your whole life.
1:13:47
You could get an understanding for basketball.
1:13:49
You can get an understanding for throwing football to
1:13:52
your son. You can catch the offensive
1:13:54
line is like you know, you feel like you go play
1:13:56
I'm gonna go play offensive line on a Sunday like you
1:13:58
could play golf, you could play tennis. Offensive
1:14:00
line is like this whole world to itself. So what
1:14:02
makes a good offensive lineman? Coach?
1:14:05
Uh, finding out what
1:14:08
your players are good at, find
1:14:10
out what they can do good, and you
1:14:12
know, put them in the right spot to succeed. Um,
1:14:15
not trying to have them do stuff, just because
1:14:18
uh, this is the drill. You gotta do what you gotta do it.
1:14:20
Okay, he might not be too good at that. All right, well we're gonna
1:14:22
do something else, you know what I mean listening like
1:14:25
like you know, I might tell, I might tell coach
1:14:27
like, you know what, this is how I've been
1:14:29
doing it? Like is that all right? If I do that? Some coaches like,
1:14:31
now you gotta do a mile way doing my way, you know. Coach Cable
1:14:33
was like, you know what if it works for you, you
1:14:34
you know, let's go ahead, let's
1:14:37
let's do it, you know, and uh go, but
1:14:39
like give me the intricacies, like what would work for you,
1:14:41
like like the way you set up, like because it's again,
1:14:44
this is so foreign, Like give me an example of something
1:14:46
like what is it you know? Or me, I've
1:14:48
been playing so long, like when I'm in my past, when I'm in my
1:14:50
stands, my foot's back far, you
1:14:52
know, when you're teaching some of the young guys, he got their foot
1:14:54
up a little a little bit closer, and I'm like, you
1:14:56
know, I'm coach, I'm used to this. I've been doing this trove
1:14:58
all right. I'm like he's I alway even thinking about
1:15:00
telling you nothing different. You know, you go do you
1:15:02
you know what I mean? Like, uh, you know, like some guys,
1:15:05
some guys aren't good pullish, you know, you gotta
1:15:07
pull get out of some guys aren't good pullers. All Right, we're not
1:15:09
gonna we're not gonna run that pool play for you. We're
1:15:11
gonna run the other way. And we might have to mix it
1:15:13
in once or three times to keep everybody honest,
1:15:15
you know, stuff like that, you know what I mean, But on
1:15:17
them one to three times, just just do what you can and try
1:15:19
to try and make it work, you know what I mean. And then uh,
1:15:22
you know hand placement, Uh, I like,
1:15:24
you know, I've been with a couple of different culches, so you
1:15:26
know, I've been talking different things. And then
1:15:28
when he comes in and teach his way, you know, he's
1:15:31
like, he's like, talk to me if you want to do something different
1:15:33
or or if you want to do it, if you don't like the way
1:15:35
I'm doing it, explain to me. So I might not always
1:15:37
agree with you, but I'm gonna listen to it and try to try
1:15:39
to take into perspective, you know, and try to help you out
1:15:41
with it. And you know, uh, coach Cable
1:15:43
when he was with Marshawn Man. I mean they were they were running
1:15:45
the ball fucking crazy in Seattle, you know what I
1:15:47
mean. And and for him to come back and bring
1:15:50
that run scheme here, I know, Marshan's fucking
1:15:52
excited and happy to have him back
1:15:54
in you know the time being that I've
1:15:56
been with him and been listening to him and
1:15:58
watching them and and listen
1:16:00
to the install of our run game like it's it's gonna be
1:16:03
great. You know. So when I say like offensive
1:16:05
line, uh stuff, like what does
1:16:07
it mean to be a good offensive lineman? You
1:16:09
know, being a good office line? You know one thing I'm
1:16:11
gonna get back to you, Like, like you say, office lineman, we
1:16:14
we do the dirty work. We get no credit
1:16:16
none, we get no credit. We do the dirty working.
1:16:19
And we're the engine, you
1:16:21
know what I mean, Like d see the car, you
1:16:24
know, the receivers and rims, you know what I mean, running
1:16:27
back the sound system, you know what I mean. But we're the engine.
1:16:29
You know, you can't work without the offensive line, you know what I
1:16:31
mean, with with the engine that makes it go. But
1:16:34
being a good office lineman is
1:16:36
you know one thing about me and my career, and why I
1:16:38
think I made it so far is I'm consistent.
1:16:41
Consistency, you know what I mean. They know
1:16:44
I'm gonna be I'm gonna be there, I'm gonna be on my
1:16:46
guy. You know, I'm not perfect. I
1:16:48
might slip up one or two times, but nine
1:16:52
percent a time, I'm gonna be Oh my guys. So
1:16:55
it's consistency and it and you got it. Sometimes,
1:16:57
man, sometimes you just gotta suck it up
1:16:59
and say, I'm just beat this dude's ass. Sometimes
1:17:03
technique go out out the window. You just
1:17:05
gotta just grunt your teeth and just fucking fight him.
1:17:07
Say I'm gonna I'm gonna get the best of this motherfucker.
1:17:09
Because like when I'm going Miller and his third
1:17:12
and fucking long and he's sitting here staring at
1:17:14
the fucking ball eyes bigg As ship, I'm
1:17:16
thinking, like, fuck, I gotta I gotta keep
1:17:19
this motherfuck off and I'm gonna do whatever it takes.
1:17:21
I mean, my technique might not be perfect, I'm gonna get my hands
1:17:23
on him and take him off. And he's he's one of the great
1:17:25
Vins, one the great. But I don't you know, it's
1:17:28
hard to eat breakfast that morning. I know, I gotta play Von, you
1:17:30
know what I mean. Stomach a little bubbly and stuff.
1:17:32
You know what I mean. I'm like God, I gotta played Von all fucking
1:17:35
gang like Ship, you know what I mean, Cause he good,
1:17:37
you know what I mean. By the end of the day, it's
1:17:39
I'm gonna compete. I'm a competitor, you know what I mean.
1:17:41
That's that's why I take pride, and I take
1:17:43
probably going gets the best and shut
1:17:45
them down. That's how that's how you get your name out of office line.
1:17:48
And you go against the best, and and when they look at the statu
1:17:50
sheet, like, oh Ship, was he there
1:17:52
that day? Right? No? No,
1:17:54
no, no no. That's how
1:17:56
I got growing gowing up in Tampa. You
1:17:58
know, I was going against John Abraham. He's one
1:18:00
of the most one of the best
1:18:02
defensive ends that I think that doesn't
1:18:05
get talked about. I agree. In my conference,
1:18:07
I had John Abraham, Julius Peppers. I
1:18:09
mean, one time Julie Peppers put his arm out on me. I
1:18:11
try to stop boys so long. I caught
1:18:14
him right here. He
1:18:16
he's a fucking freak and freak man, you
1:18:18
know, I one of the best, and you know I have will Will
1:18:20
Smith rest in peace, you know what I mean. Like like you
1:18:22
know, and and those those games you know we're
1:18:25
playing on Monday night football stuff like that. I'm like, man,
1:18:27
I want to show the world with the funk guys,
1:18:29
you know what I mean. They keep talking about him. I'm showing them. But I
1:18:31
got this young kid, you know what I mean, the damn this young kid
1:18:33
going against them. And and that's how you you get
1:18:36
yourself out there, that's how you get your name going on.
1:18:38
When you play against the best, you gotta be the best, you
1:18:40
know what I mean. When you're coming off the line, Like
1:18:42
I mean, when I'm looking at
1:18:44
you and I think about these offensive linemen who
1:18:46
get no credit, and you know, you'll
1:18:48
hear about oh this this, They'll like, you know, they'll talk
1:18:50
about a guy, this guy runs
1:18:53
the forty and forty. You're like this fucking
1:18:55
guys like the size of a fucking truck,
1:18:58
fat fucking you know guy, Like
1:19:00
you guys are talking about freaks because
1:19:04
you did the linebackers. We know, those
1:19:06
guys are like they're like, you know, crazy
1:19:08
fast, the Vaughan Miller's and all that you guys are
1:19:11
you have to like the quickness and and the agility,
1:19:14
and you're the biggest guys, you know, like especially
1:19:16
like the guards in the center. You know the deal. You know what
1:19:18
the crazy thing is? Now? Like the new kids
1:19:20
come in freaks, like like these these
1:19:22
deans, they're running as
1:19:24
fast. These deans running as fast the receivers. Now
1:19:27
have you seen the evolution of man? Since
1:19:29
you're crazy? I want to do my
1:19:31
campus stuff. I get the high school kids coming, and I'm like, I
1:19:34
was not that fucking big in high school. What the funk
1:19:36
are y'all eating? Like you know what I mean? Like it's some big
1:19:39
kids. I went to my college a couple of months ago,
1:19:41
and I sat down with the old line. I'm like, man, I
1:19:43
wasn't that big in college. Like, I'm like, what the fun is
1:19:45
going on? Where are they feel they're bigger than you? Right?
1:19:48
Yeah, in college already and stuff like that in high
1:19:50
school? Oh my god, damn. But um,
1:19:52
but like you said, like, like, um, you know, I know
1:19:54
somebody on my team. I ain't gonna call him. I ain't gonna say his
1:19:56
name though, but he got one of the worst bodies
1:19:58
ever, bro. But he's from He one of the most athletic
1:20:01
motherfucker's you just compliment.
1:20:04
I can't do that to my dude. But he
1:20:08
could move with Ben and you'll look
1:20:10
at him and be like, but when he gets
1:20:12
out there in space and plays, man, he's one of the best
1:20:14
in the game at what he does too. And he got probably
1:20:16
one of the worst bodies ever though, but he won the best. That's
1:20:19
just that's just the way it is. It's just something you
1:20:21
build. Like they look at me sometimes they were like, I'll
1:20:24
take my shot and that motherfucker know football
1:20:26
player, But when I get out there, Ship, I'm
1:20:28
looking like a sweet feet athlete, you know what I mean, Like like
1:20:30
like you know what I'm saying, Like it's it's stuff.
1:20:32
You guys are freaks, yeah, you know, like
1:20:34
do your offensive lineman or like we talked about the Antonio
1:20:37
Browns and yours, Like you guys are fucking
1:20:39
freaks. Yeah, you know. I got Gabe Jackson my
1:20:41
right guard. He's he's sucking strong and ship like.
1:20:43
He's from Mississippi. He's just a
1:20:45
big strong ox And I got Ko next
1:20:47
to me and he's just a big strong ox
1:20:49
man and we jail together. We
1:20:51
have fun together. We
1:20:54
talked, shipped to each other all the damn time.
1:20:56
You gotta have thick skin to be in our room.
1:20:58
Um, you know, uh looking
1:21:00
forward to this first round rookie coming because you don't have a lot
1:21:02
of money. So I can't wait for the old line that uh
1:21:05
that rookie dinner and uh, you know, make
1:21:08
them bring them snacks in, make him get his food on the on
1:21:10
the road trips and stuff like that. But you know,
1:21:12
old line mean, it's not easy. I'm not gonna
1:21:14
say it's easy, you know. And the way the
1:21:16
way the world is now, man, it's like
1:21:19
everybody just trained their kids to be football
1:21:21
players and be there. Like with my kid, I'm like, man, go
1:21:24
have fun, Go play what you want to play. Well, decide
1:21:26
that ship when you get older, man, getting baseball,
1:21:28
get to base on, get your football, and get your basketball. Well,
1:21:30
I'm not gonna predetermine nothing, man, like just go because
1:21:33
I like I growling, I thought it was woulna be an NBA. I wanted to be
1:21:35
an NBA. You know, look like about twelve years
1:21:37
and playing football. So you know,
1:21:39
like you look at some of these kids, like some
1:21:42
kids can I cant have that? Bro? Like, but I want to be going to tell
1:21:44
the parents like, like like, brother, I'm chilling like you got, I'm in football
1:21:46
year around, you know what I mean? Like let them let them
1:21:48
chill, you know what I mean? I feel like, you know some of
1:21:50
them guys that do get older and get
1:21:52
a lot of injuries just because they got wore down as a kid,
1:21:55
you know what I mean. Like, you gotta be able to
1:21:56
just to play have some fun sometime.
1:21:58
Man, I ain't train, train, try and then'll be a kid,
1:22:00
right, I agree? I agree? Um,
1:22:04
you mentioned Vaen Miller, You mentioned some names.
1:22:07
Who what are the other linebackers, other
1:22:09
defensive ends throughout your career that
1:22:12
you're just like, I I need to get some sleep,
1:22:14
uh, and I need to get in the film
1:22:16
room. That you've played against it it's just like,
1:22:19
are just good at their craft. That's
1:22:21
another thing to be a good off in the line. You gotta
1:22:23
study. You gotta study film. I watched film
1:22:26
a lot, And what are you watching for? I'm
1:22:28
I don't. I don't watch too much of the Run
1:22:31
Game because I feel like the Run Game, you just gotta
1:22:33
be better than the other man. He's got that one and more.
1:22:35
You gotta be there. But like when I'm going against those
1:22:37
good dans, I watched a pass, I watched
1:22:39
a pass rush moves all the time you're watching
1:22:41
the guy you're going again, Yeah, so I anticipate
1:22:44
and but what are you looking for? Like how he comes
1:22:46
off, like what side he favors? Like what are you looking
1:22:48
for? Yeah, I'm looking for his
1:22:51
moves. If he's a if
1:22:53
he's a bull rush guy, if he's a one armed
1:22:56
guy, if he's if he has a
1:22:58
spin, because you always gotta be ready for in like
1:23:00
von got won the sick of spins ever, right,
1:23:02
you always gotta be ready for the spin. So I
1:23:04
know, if I'm going on his vine, I can't ever lean too much
1:23:07
because if he hits me with that spin, I'm leaning. I'm done,
1:23:09
you know. So it's it's a little stuff like that,
1:23:11
um um, how they come off or they just upp
1:23:13
a field rusher, or do they take the inside
1:23:15
if you give it to him? So I always be ready. Okay, if they get
1:23:17
the inside more, I gotta jump it, you know what I mean. You
1:23:20
know, I try to watch, you know, some of the schemes
1:23:23
too, because you know, if I see okay, if I see this guy come
1:23:25
down here. Oh, I know he's gonna go inside, you know what I
1:23:27
mean. So I'll be ready. I'll react faster, you know what I mean.
1:23:29
If I see that lineback come over here, Oh that's that bliss.
1:23:31
They are about to run. You know, I canticipate stuff
1:23:33
better, you know what I'm saying. But
1:23:36
but yeah, but but some of them then it's like like you said,
1:23:38
like, man, when I first got to leave, John Abraham was giving
1:23:40
me the blues. Man, like when
1:23:42
I first man, when I first got the leg with Tampa,
1:23:45
I was like, I think my first four times playing
1:23:47
with him, he got a sack in each game. And I
1:23:49
mean after that, like I started, I started
1:23:51
fighting. I started fighting, I started learning, then I started
1:23:54
doing. You know, Peppers was a beast when I first got
1:23:56
there. My first start in the NFL IS against
1:23:58
the White Freeny and Indiapolis.
1:24:00
I was my first startup my career. And I
1:24:02
mean, and that dude was that dude and his
1:24:04
prime was was a man and he
1:24:06
was fast. Yeah, man, he
1:24:09
fast, had to spin had the bull rush, he had
1:24:11
everything he was set to spin up off the
1:24:13
bull rush. So you'd be trying sell on the bull rust and his spin.
1:24:15
But you know, I was an eye opener. That was a
1:24:17
great learning learning thing on that game. And
1:24:20
then, uh, you know another dude that people sleep
1:24:22
on, you know, the markets Ware. You know, I
1:24:24
played him in college twice and played
1:24:26
him I played probably I don't know how many times in the league.
1:24:29
But that's my that's he's a good boy, right, He one
1:24:31
of my good friends. But but he's a beast.
1:24:34
He's a beast. And then you know in my conference
1:24:36
right now, ain't too many left tackles signed up
1:24:38
to come to the NFC West, you know, because every Sunday
1:24:40
you gotta you gotta played Vughn twice a year. You gott played
1:24:42
justin Houston twice a year. You know, I mean, you gotta
1:24:44
play um Melvin Ingram and
1:24:46
a lot of people sleep man Joey Bosa, He nice man.
1:24:48
A lot of people sleep on him. He nice man. Joey both
1:24:50
got a lot of moves, man. You know. So ain't like left
1:24:53
tackles running to the FC. What you gotta have a
1:24:55
certain mindset, certain mentality to be able
1:24:57
to uh, to play in our conference. I love
1:24:59
it. I love this ship. I love this ship. My
1:25:02
man, Crabtree Michael
1:25:04
fucking Crafty and I met him and I was
1:25:06
like, because I funk with Crabtree. Why
1:25:09
does he drive every cornerback
1:25:11
deep? Why does every defensive player in the NFL
1:25:13
seemed to hate my man and Michael Crafty? Are
1:25:15
they mad because he's he's like a pretty boy, he
1:25:18
got his chain, says what happened that game?
1:25:20
That got out of hand? And like just the first questions,
1:25:23
why is everyone hating on my man Crabtree?
1:25:25
Now I don't know, man, crab my boy, Man c good
1:25:29
dude, Man's good player. Crab
1:25:31
Funny is hell too. Man. If y'all see that, I'm
1:25:33
talking Crapy Funny and hell, you're good dude. You know.
1:25:36
The bad thing is I hate seeing it because I
1:25:38
keep to leave. Is one of my best friends. One of my good
1:25:40
friends. Man. Our families are like this. You know, we played
1:25:42
Tampa together and like seeing that, it's
1:25:45
just it's just crazy, man, don't
1:25:47
I don't even just question. I mean they've been competing
1:25:50
this high school. They went to Royal High School in Dallas that
1:25:53
beaten since high school? You know what I mean? So did
1:25:55
they never say that? Yeah? So it goes back.
1:25:57
They they're both from the same city and stuff like that.
1:25:59
But you know it's sad. It hurts me because I'm
1:26:01
like, man, yo, both my boys, I try
1:26:03
to, you know, keep a calm between between both
1:26:05
of them, you know what I mean. But you know, you know, Crap
1:26:08
Crap a great receiver, man, you know what.
1:26:10
I'm sad to see him go, to be honest with all,
1:26:12
sad to see him go. Man, he gonna he's gonna bounce
1:26:14
back, um in Baltimore, Man, because he got a great quarterback
1:26:16
with flat and stuff, and he finds the
1:26:18
ball, the ball finds him and he got some of the best
1:26:20
chance. He got some of the best hands in the NFL. Man.
1:26:23
I'm a Misscrap though, but man, I got a
1:26:25
lot, a lot of love for Crap. But but I don't
1:26:27
know, man, I think people always tried to try Crab.
1:26:30
But you know what. The one thing about Crab though, Um
1:26:32
he talked, he talked with his play. I agree,
1:26:34
he talked with his play. I agree because that was something
1:26:37
I mean, and and that I kinda I kind of
1:26:39
man that that she was kind of growing over. I was like, man,
1:26:41
that game, you knew it was gonna told Key before the y'all
1:26:43
like keep im like, I'm like, just chill. He's
1:26:46
not chilling. And then you know, and
1:26:48
then you know already knew. I could see him crab
1:26:50
eyes and the hud. I'm like, funk, I'm like god ship
1:26:53
the early and again, I'm like, damn,
1:26:55
I'm like that she got bad for it was bad. It
1:26:57
was. I mean, there's nothing dope about
1:27:00
I mean, you're you're a vet. Football
1:27:02
fights to me are the dumbest thing ever because
1:27:06
I get the emotion and the violence and and
1:27:08
the adrenaline. I get that, but it's like, you
1:27:10
got helmets on, you got pads
1:27:12
on, there's really nowhere to hit, Like do
1:27:14
you get any ship? Like what was that something? Anybody grabbed
1:27:17
your didn't by grab your mask? I gotta I
1:27:19
gotta fight with Jared Allen a couple of years ago
1:27:21
on Thursday Night Football. He's
1:27:24
a fucking character too, right, Yeah, I got a lot of
1:27:26
respect for Jared though. You're you're a good player though,
1:27:28
but you know, Jared robbed me the wrong
1:27:30
way early in my career, and uh, you
1:27:33
know it's always balloon ballon and uh
1:27:35
you know that game. I one time
1:27:37
we were playing in Tampa and I was talking
1:27:40
ship to him, cose we want that motherfucker hit me with her,
1:27:42
he said, he said, don't talk to me till you make it across
1:27:44
the water. I'm like, fuck right,
1:27:47
like make it to the y probo. I'm like, damn, I'm gonna su
1:27:49
just shut me up, put me in my place, you know what I mean? And
1:27:51
then, uh, I made the Pro Bowl like two years
1:27:54
later, so we played them again. Some motherfucker. I made the Pro Bowl,
1:27:56
now, you know, I mean, I made across that motherfucker water.
1:27:59
But we had a game. We're batoon battling,
1:28:01
battling, and you know, you
1:28:04
know, he, uh, he got mad when
1:28:06
I tried to. I tried to you know what. You know me, I'm
1:28:08
a physical dude. You know, if I can get you, I gonna trying to finish you. So
1:28:10
I try to finish you, and he tried to. He tried to grab
1:28:13
me. You know, I knocked his helmet off. We started. I
1:28:15
felt like a little as Kido because he's holding my face man,
1:28:17
and I'm like this swinging and
1:28:20
I couldn't see nothing and I'm swaying that.
1:28:22
Uh. You know. It was crazy too because
1:28:25
we were winning thursdaynight football, And I mean that
1:28:27
stadium got so fucking
1:28:30
loud because the next play they
1:28:32
ran a fucking stunt and my Garden
1:28:35
didn't come off inside and he got a sucking sack.
1:28:37
The very next play that stadium
1:28:39
got so fucking loud he did this little thing.
1:28:41
We ended up still winning, though, but I was like, I'm
1:28:43
looking at my guard. I'm like, man,
1:28:46
then why did you knocked you off? Why did
1:28:48
you going there again? And that was the last
1:28:50
game of my guards career season two
1:28:53
because he had a foot injury. He's like, mean, I couldn't playing
1:28:55
off that ship. You know, he's playing through it, so I
1:28:57
couldn't playing off that foot to go back. So it's kind of
1:28:59
like but in my I don't like, man, fun like because
1:29:01
you didn't want to get it. I don't want to get ship
1:29:03
that. Yeah, you know what I mean. But but but that's another
1:29:05
dude that that's a fucking that was a fucking baller man, Like
1:29:08
I had to. I had to. I had to bring my lunchpill that
1:29:10
that game time Jared, every time I played j And I to
1:29:12
bring my lunch pill. I had to watch a lot of film on them,
1:29:14
you know, That's what I said, you know that's old, old,
1:29:16
old news and stuff. I got tremendous respect
1:29:19
for him, you know what I mean. That's one thing I do. Man, That's
1:29:21
one thing about me. I don't fear nobody,
1:29:23
but I respect a lot of motherfucker's um.
1:29:27
You seem like you talk ship a
1:29:30
lot. I not
1:29:32
died down my older age now because you gotta
1:29:34
keep your winning right, keep I gotta give your away, keep going.
1:29:37
You know, I'll be like I'll be watching that like damn, I'm
1:29:39
gonna getting into it like that used to be me. But one
1:29:41
thing I don't do, Bro, if you ever see me like, one thing I don't
1:29:43
do, Bro, you don't suck on my quarterback in
1:29:46
terms of what actually lay anything. You don't
1:29:48
suck my quarterback. I'll get on your as quick
1:29:50
I don't. I don't play that ship like. That's one thing I don't play,
1:29:52
and I don't play with most of my teammates. Man. I always
1:29:55
do no chief to my team, and I'm gonna be on your ship, you
1:29:57
know what I mean. I were one time some dude pushing to see how the
1:30:00
out the fucking out of bounds late
1:30:02
and I'm on the other side of field, I walked all
1:30:04
the way up to that motherfucker. They had to get me back to the huddle
1:30:06
because the time was running. I went all the up
1:30:08
to push the ship out, like, don't hit that motherfucker.
1:30:11
They don't suck my dude, like that's my quarterback,
1:30:13
Like I'll protect DC. That's
1:30:15
my dog. Like even if one of my dog, any of my quarterbacks.
1:30:17
They always tell you like DP always got my
1:30:19
motherfucking back. I don't. I don't that ship slide?
1:30:22
Who? Who? Who are the players that
1:30:25
throughout your career? Uh? That talk
1:30:27
you said? Jared talk shit? You know you could tell
1:30:29
his personality. He seemed like he talked ship all
1:30:31
the way through. Who are the other players that you've played
1:30:34
against? Uh that we or or
1:30:36
even on on your team? That just the big ship
1:30:38
talkers Because you know I'm the king of talking
1:30:40
shit. But but I mean, you guys are really
1:30:42
doing it. So who are the guys that, like, you know, like are loud
1:30:45
talking shit? Uh? Fletcher Cox
1:30:48
from uh from Philly, he talked
1:30:50
a lot of ship. I ain't playing him that much, but but
1:30:52
when I do play, I'm always talking Uh.
1:30:55
Um what's his name?
1:30:57
From Denver? When the linebackers from damer I don't remember. They
1:31:00
want the line back from Dinver. He'd be talking a lot
1:31:02
of ship. I'm gonna miss the funk up. Like make a play first,
1:31:04
you start talking ship, you know what I mean? Me
1:31:09
shout on my team, man, on my team now, like on
1:31:12
my team now, like our old line, like
1:31:14
we don't start ship, but you start some ship with we're
1:31:16
gonna finish it. That's one thing I like about.
1:31:18
We got one the best old lines in the NFL, and we're
1:31:21
gonna start ship, but we'll finish it. If you try to start some ship
1:31:23
and some people that try to start some ship and that then
1:31:25
the game they'll be working quiet, you know what I mean,
1:31:28
Like like like you know what I mean, like like you need
1:31:30
to chill the funk out. But you
1:31:32
know I love I I even growing
1:31:35
up. Like but he was always on offense, man,
1:31:37
mother fu. Steve Smith talks so much ship. He
1:31:39
did, and he was offense. But I love watching
1:31:41
them plays like that about the funding up full he talks
1:31:43
so much ship. Uh. And he's a little
1:31:46
dude. My boy, my boy Marcus s Peters, he was talking
1:31:48
a little ship too, and like like they're gonna be tough
1:31:50
the raums. Yeah you know what I mean im Yeah.
1:31:53
T J. War talk a lot of ship. My
1:31:55
boy too. He look a lot of ship to t J. Ward
1:31:57
talking a lot of ship. Uh, keep
1:32:01
you talking to a little bit. He I think he liked me
1:32:03
to calm down since and getting older. You know, ship
1:32:05
come down last year he was sucking on it. Yeah.
1:32:09
But yeah and on our team. You know,
1:32:11
one thing about one thing about Marshan. He don't talk. He
1:32:13
don'ta say ship doing again? Right? He seems like he
1:32:15
doesn't say after When I'll be trying to
1:32:17
jump on when he's scoring ship, he wants to shake my hand out,
1:32:20
I'll be like, because he hate when I do that. I'll be trying to grab
1:32:22
him and he hate that ship. So I'll be doing on purpose.
1:32:24
But mar Shan mar Shin
1:32:26
has seen my Shan gets smacked by somebody and
1:32:29
on the ground I'm laying down next to on the ground, He's like,
1:32:32
good motherfuckering hit hitt dude on the here. I'm like to
1:32:34
smack the ship out of you. He's like, good motherfucker here
1:32:36
hitting ude on the here. He typed up about it. Yeah,
1:32:38
like like like you know, what I mean. And then when he runs somebody
1:32:41
over, he'll get hired. But but if somebody hit him
1:32:43
hard, he'll tell you like like good ship, way to
1:32:45
bring that she said about time, you know what I mean, Like i'd
1:32:47
be like not the only time he really talk you don't. You don't
1:32:49
talk about ship, but he he comes to play. That's one thing I
1:32:51
like about the mother. He comes to play.
1:32:53
But I'll be like like last year, like watching
1:32:55
him, like sometimes I had like I'm
1:32:58
watching, let me keep blocking like
1:33:00
ship, I'm watching them like you know, I'm not watching. Let
1:33:02
me keep blocking. Get somebody down, feel like I got
1:33:04
myself watching sometimes like damn, this motherfucker is
1:33:07
a beast. You know. I always always wanted to play with him
1:33:09
man, and then finally play him last year. I'm like I
1:33:11
said, let me keep blocking up watching
1:33:14
sometime like you know what I mean, Like this motherfucker's he's
1:33:16
really like you could see his aggressive like you as
1:33:19
alignment. You could tell the difference like when he compared
1:33:22
to some other people, like his feet never
1:33:24
stopped moving like his craigy, Like you
1:33:26
know the same thing I would have been running thinking
1:33:28
he down and I gotta speedback up, like,
1:33:30
oh, he's still going, like you know what I mean, Like like he's
1:33:34
special, He's special. I love that. Um
1:33:37
tell me a huddle. Who's
1:33:40
doing the talking besides your quarterback
1:33:42
Derek Carr? Like like, well, what is it like? Again?
1:33:45
This is like we could sit here and talk about I study
1:33:47
this, and I watched this and fucking analysts
1:33:49
and experts and all these fucking stats and all
1:33:51
this ship an NFL huddle?
1:33:54
What what what is going on in there? Like it's third
1:33:57
and three? You know you're in in
1:34:00
in Minnesota. It's loud as ship, Like
1:34:02
what is that liking there? It's
1:34:04
a lot of there's a lot of deep breathing
1:34:06
going on. It's
1:34:09
a lot of deep breathing, especially on the line. I mean I
1:34:12
used playing as a gay before they moved in the right guard, I
1:34:14
used have to face the other way because
1:34:17
he's when I was in hell, I was in helling his breath,
1:34:19
So I have to face the other way so I should catch my breath,
1:34:22
like because here were breathing so hard and I'm I'm
1:34:24
like, damn, like I gotta get some real
1:34:26
fresh area. Not the turn, but you know in our
1:34:28
hold d C, do you know one thing about our team, man, Like
1:34:31
I'm I'm the oldest guy on the team now since Sea
1:34:33
Bass left and d
1:34:35
C and Khalil's are captains, they are leaders,
1:34:37
you know what I mean? For them to be so young and
1:34:40
be so mature at such a young age, just like damn,
1:34:43
I sit back, I sit back. I just won't worry more
1:34:45
about me, you know what I mean. Like I'm like, they got it,
1:34:47
you know what I mean? But now, how you know DC is probably
1:34:49
doing most He's doing most of talking. Then, um, you
1:34:51
know, are sin a rod? You know, no, he'll do
1:34:53
something talking because you know, he got to make sure he's
1:34:55
one that puts us in the right spotting and him and DC always gotta
1:34:57
be on the same page. So he might do something like and
1:35:00
stuff ain't going right. You know, I might come up like, come on, guy,
1:35:02
who gotta make a play here? Like, come on, guys, let's get it. Man.
1:35:04
I'll be like, you know, I look at the sticks
1:35:06
eight, third and three. Make sure I'll get the sticks third and three,
1:35:08
and like you know sometimes and two men, I'll remind
1:35:10
the guys like, hey, make sure you get out of bounce, you know
1:35:12
what I mean. Make sure you got bounced. Uh, and then
1:35:14
like you know, sometimes you know when we're gonna form, and I'll
1:35:17
tell the running backs, you know, make sure you hold make
1:35:19
sure hold onto the rock to it. I'd be like oldline, make sure
1:35:21
we're going clean it up because you know they're gonna
1:35:23
try shoot the ball, you know what I mean. Forming and stuff like
1:35:25
little reminders. I might I might do some stuff like that,
1:35:27
but usually you know, it's just DC and maybe Rod
1:35:30
telling us, like we might be talking about protection
1:35:32
coming up, or you know, you know with with
1:35:34
our offense, there's so much ship in the offense,
1:35:36
like sometimes you might need you might forget
1:35:39
something and be like, hey, hey, what's that again? Okay, you
1:35:41
know you got the other guys. Yeah
1:35:43
this other guys like what's that again? Like because there's so much
1:35:45
ship and you're thinking about so much other stuff, so it
1:35:47
might be like like one time we was a game
1:35:50
they they called uh, you
1:35:53
know, we called it we changed to play. I
1:35:55
looked at my doing as I said, I said, what the fun going?
1:35:57
Like, you know, you have to tell them I forgot.
1:36:00
I had a brain fart, you know, okay,
1:36:03
I got, I got. You have to be like highly like
1:36:05
like the listening is so much a part of the toughest
1:36:07
thing is when we play away. Man, I'm staying to be so loud.
1:36:10
What's the loudest ones? Like, give me the three loudest
1:36:12
places. Kansas City is louder than a bit.
1:36:15
New Orleans Dome is loud um.
1:36:19
Minnesota was loud as fuck. Um, Kansas
1:36:22
City get louder than a mother like
1:36:25
no, Seattle, Seattle is a loudest one
1:36:28
time? Can you hear the quarterback at the line? No, I
1:36:30
remember one time said I I ain't hear DC voice of
1:36:32
the second quarter. I swear I don't
1:36:34
hear DC voice. So how are you getting the snap that the
1:36:37
mording at the ball? We're going off the silent
1:36:39
like like I gotta say, like I'm not gonna
1:36:41
say it though, but like if you know that
1:36:43
one I looked one, one thousand, I go because
1:36:47
you can't hear ship. Yeah, we go off like you know,
1:36:49
head movements. We got certain little things, you
1:36:51
know what I mean, Like like because you know when it's
1:36:53
loud, the guard looks back and
1:36:55
when you see DC lift his head, he chats the center
1:36:57
and then whatever he does. I try to go
1:37:00
off of that because you can understand up
1:37:02
a split second late, I'm getting beat them
1:37:05
them. Then they're looking at the ball, they're flying
1:37:07
off, you know what I mean. So I gotta be on points. So they're
1:37:09
like when we're playing a loud, loud stadium sometimes
1:37:12
right, rocket mad sometimes, but we'll be sitting the back when
1:37:14
we're not up. I'd be like, Row, just do the just do the movement for
1:37:16
me, and I do it just to getting the time. Just do
1:37:18
the moment for me, and He'll just stand there and do
1:37:21
it, you know, just just I gotta because if if
1:37:23
I go in the game I fe uncomfortable with with the with
1:37:25
the side of the snap count, it's gonna be a problem. I got to
1:37:27
go in the game comfortable, you know what I mean. So even
1:37:29
before the games of time, we'll be on the sideline where they
1:37:31
before they do national Rod, just give it to me a couple more
1:37:33
times. Okay, all right, I got it, I got
1:37:36
it right, Yeah, Because you
1:37:38
know that that's why they that's why they get so loud,
1:37:40
you know what I mean, Because they try to. That's that's like they
1:37:43
want you exactly. They want you going off late.
1:37:46
Well, I remember when we play Seattle
1:37:48
once. I adn't hear DC. Honestly did not hear DC's
1:37:50
voice until the second quarter. That's crazy. Yeah,
1:37:52
it was. It was just so loud. They were so loud, Like you
1:37:55
know, we started, we started moving the ball a little and so calm
1:37:57
down a little bit, but when they were up and rocking,
1:37:59
like, I ain't boys whole
1:38:01
first cor um last season.
1:38:03
I think it was last season. Uh, it's
1:38:06
something that made outside of football and I
1:38:08
loved it. You were in Oakland
1:38:11
and you're getting heckled by you had the role.
1:38:13
By the way, did you come in the roles today? I came
1:38:15
in, Uh, the four by four g ship.
1:38:17
I wanted you to come up in the roles. You
1:38:19
were leaving the stadium. What happened with
1:38:21
the fan? Like? Were you walking a thway? What was
1:38:23
the guy saying? I was when I was
1:38:26
driving, I was driving through and you
1:38:29
know it's using never for some reason, it was
1:38:31
stopped right there. It's usually always just smoothed out
1:38:33
for some ready stop and you're in Oakland. Yeah,
1:38:35
and I'm I'm texting while I'm stopped. I'm looking at
1:38:37
my phone. You know, I gotta hell of messages. I'm looking at my phone and
1:38:40
I see some fly across my my whishield.
1:38:43
So I look out and I don't know if he threw
1:38:45
it or not, but I'll look out and I see
1:38:47
mother fu like like,
1:38:51
oh, I'm not me. I don't know if he threw it or not, but I just saw hopped
1:38:53
out the car and I went over there and yeah,
1:38:56
and he was like, he kept saying
1:38:58
one meal twenty one me between when meal
1:39:00
you ain't worth it. I was like, like, bro, I started
1:39:03
I started cousing out, and I'm like, what the fund are
1:39:05
you doing? Like like you're looking serious. I was like, I
1:39:07
was like, I would really beat your fucking ass, like for real.
1:39:09
And then I started looking around and this
1:39:11
boy was videotaping, and I saw
1:39:13
some other people video tape back, and I honestly said
1:39:16
this in my head, I promised you. I said this to myself.
1:39:18
I said, now, what the fund are you doing? Get your ass back
1:39:20
in this fucking car. I said, you're doing what they fucking
1:39:22
want. I like, I turned around, I got back in car,
1:39:24
like if you see the video, you can see me look, and I paused. I
1:39:27
was like, I like, what the fund is you doing? Down? Get your back
1:39:29
in the fucking car, you know what I mean. So I went
1:39:31
back and got back. Man, if I could go go back and do it all
1:39:34
over a game, I would never got off the car. I would just
1:39:36
last slide. I was pissed because we lost that
1:39:38
close game in San Diego that we should have won. And
1:39:40
then I saw some fly across my car. I don't even know if
1:39:42
it was a dude that, if it was him that threw it, but
1:39:45
that's a rude ship. When I look out that I was seeing
1:39:47
with his hands up like this talking, you know, point of ship.
1:39:49
So I don't MANE think it was him though, But you
1:39:51
know, you live and you learn. That's that's one lesson I'm gonna learn
1:39:53
from. You know, I'm not going forward, you know, I just
1:39:56
left. She saw it a lot, a lot. You know, you got
1:39:58
people on social med that, you
1:40:00
know, you got these social media thugs and ship like that, and
1:40:02
then ship and
1:40:04
then when you see them, they'll ask for an autograph of our
1:40:06
picture. You know. But um, you know, I just
1:40:09
learned to, you know, just block them and
1:40:11
uh, you know, just keep it keep it going,
1:40:13
you know, ship. I'm a old lineman. I block
1:40:15
for a living. So I'll block your ass on social media, quit,
1:40:17
you know what I mean. But yeah,
1:40:20
dude, the fans of Raid Nation fans, I love
1:40:22
them. They're so pass But we got
1:40:24
some of the greatest fans ever. Man. Like, Like
1:40:27
when I was in Tampa, I rarely in
1:40:29
l A. You know, had people come up to your Tampa
1:40:32
a lot. But now Radar fans like all
1:40:35
the time I'm in a grocery store, I'm in just
1:40:37
running the liquor store real fast. It's
1:40:40
it's everywhere, you know what I mean. It's like, as I
1:40:42
was out last night and I saw a gang Raider
1:40:44
fans like it's just a Raider fans are everywhere.
1:40:47
I'll be in Mexico on vacation, Raider fans come
1:40:49
up to me, you know what I mean. It's like it's like that
1:40:51
the nation following this is
1:40:53
really ridiculous. But it's a good thing. I
1:40:55
love it though, And I mean, like every
1:40:58
time I fly back and forth I'm
1:41:00
on the play somebody, you know what I mean, they come up to
1:41:02
you want to picture and stuff like that. You know, it
1:41:04
gets oh, it gets tired sometimes, But I
1:41:07
love it though, you know, especially because we got we got great
1:41:09
support. Man we got great fan base, you know what I mean, Like sometimes
1:41:11
why my disney Land or I'm
1:41:13
at the fair with my kids, you know something I might be like, you
1:41:16
know, just end me chilling tour family that time. But use
1:41:18
I'm always open forward and and and and
1:41:20
do it though. But but you ain't. You ain't. We got
1:41:22
some of the best fans in the world. Before
1:41:25
I let you go, two more things because I want to
1:41:27
talk about your camp. Last, somebody tried
1:41:29
to break into your house. What is
1:41:31
this story? Yeah, a
1:41:34
couple of years ago this, uh
1:41:37
you know, my wife was pregnant, uh with
1:41:40
my son, and uh you
1:41:42
know, I was in the bathroom getting ready to taking the school. I'm
1:41:44
in my bathroom, like I'm blessed
1:41:46
at a nice size house. This is in the morning, Yes,
1:41:48
in the morning, at eight o'clock in the morning. I'm in a I'm
1:41:51
in the bathroom and my back back my
1:41:53
bathrooms, like in the back, and I'm brushing
1:41:55
my teeth and stuff. And I hear like
1:41:58
somebody screaming. If I'm thinking my son
1:42:00
ain't listening. My wife screaming and my son. So
1:42:02
I started walking towards down the closet hallway
1:42:06
a little slow. You know, I'm still breasting my teeth. And then
1:42:08
my son bust through the door. Dady, somebody
1:42:10
broke in the house. So I started running. I'm in boxers,
1:42:13
just boxing. I started running, and I see
1:42:15
my wife running up the stairs. She
1:42:18
was praying with my dog. Run up the stairs with my other son,
1:42:21
my other son in his in her hands, and
1:42:24
she likes, somebody broke in my front doors
1:42:26
or wide the funk open. So I
1:42:28
sprent down, I
1:42:30
spread down the stairs and she's like, baby, grab
1:42:32
your gun. I'm like, fun, So I run. You know, I got a lock box
1:42:35
on my nights there. I run, blah blah blah. I grab
1:42:37
my gun and I'm running down stare and she's like, no, he's
1:42:39
towards her. He's still in the house. Jesus
1:42:42
come around where
1:42:44
my garages and he's walking
1:42:47
with his hands in his pocket, slow as
1:42:49
ship, like he's in his own house. So
1:42:52
I, um, I put a gun out of it. I'm like, what the
1:42:55
are you doing? Bro? Like you know my what
1:42:57
youre doing? No face show expressing nothing, still
1:43:00
just and then I put a gun. I kind of put
1:43:02
his hands up like boom. So then
1:43:04
you try to make a mood to run, so I shot at the wall. Holy
1:43:07
ship, Now, I shot at the wall, and then he froze
1:43:09
and duck and I went out beat that motherfucker's
1:43:11
ass. I tried to uh. I
1:43:14
tried to kick him. I had no shoes.
1:43:16
I tried to kick him and I slipped and fail. And
1:43:19
then he hopped up and ran through the garage. So
1:43:21
I tried to run through the garage. He's holding
1:43:23
the door shut, and I hit the garage open.
1:43:26
So I run around through my front
1:43:28
door. He runs across hops the gate and
1:43:31
he's running across the street. I'm running outside.
1:43:33
I'm in boxers, big black doing boxers would have done
1:43:35
in my hand. I'm running across the street. He
1:43:37
runs across the street and
1:43:39
tried to go into the house. Across the streets and
1:43:42
I gang him to the floor from the thing and I get
1:43:45
on top of him. I'm just malling and
1:43:47
then the dude comes out. He's like, hey, hey, what you're
1:43:49
doing. I hopped out, pulled a gun on here. Who
1:43:52
is you like? Come to find out? It was
1:43:54
holy fuck gonna find out. He's
1:43:56
like, that's my son. I'm like, your son just
1:43:58
broke in my house. Are you fucking serious.
1:44:00
He was like, and you could see his dad face. He
1:44:03
was like, it was so much disgusted on his face. He was like, and
1:44:05
he looked at son, He's like, what the fund are you doing? So by
1:44:07
that time, I put my good dude from across the ship. Yeah,
1:44:10
he's like, he's like he's his dad starts apologize.
1:44:12
He's like, he's like, my son's mentally ill. He's been
1:44:14
off his meds for about six months. Man, He's like, he's
1:44:17
mentally ill. He's like, I'm sorry, I'm sorry. So by
1:44:19
this time, my neighbors are calling out, and my wife's freaking
1:44:21
out because she heard the gunshot. She don't know what happened. She
1:44:24
gotta we gotta play. I ain't gonna say, well I played the but she knows
1:44:26
what to do and how to get out of the house. You know, anything like that happens.
1:44:28
And she did that. She was at my neighbor's house and
1:44:31
uh, she called the police. Um, I
1:44:34
told him I was still there. I'm like, bro, I'm like, I'm
1:44:36
not I'm not leaving, like you know what i mean. I'm like
1:44:38
this, I'm like, called I took me. His dad called the cops. So
1:44:40
I'm like, call the fucking cup. I have no phone. I'm in boxers
1:44:42
and ship. So then you know, the police came,
1:44:44
and you know me, I'm a big black dude. So once I
1:44:46
heard cyrus m my neighbor came out said
1:44:49
wait through his motherfucker, don't leave. So I went. It
1:44:51
was trash day, so I went and I put my gun
1:44:53
in between the tracks. I was about walk up to the police and boxers,
1:44:55
big black dude with braids with a gun in my
1:44:58
hand. You know what I mean? You know, you know I'm the stories. I put
1:45:00
my gun in between the in the between
1:45:02
the trash can, and I walked up. You
1:45:04
know what I got. A cop pulled a gun on me. Like I
1:45:06
said, no, it ain't me. I said, this is my fun over here.
1:45:08
And then that's what I said. That there cool. They they rushed
1:45:10
over there and pulled off the handcuffs. And then
1:45:12
the first thing he asked, where's the gun. Where's the gun? I said,
1:45:15
I knew he's gonna ask me that. He said, right over there in
1:45:17
between the trash can. I
1:45:19
did not come up with it, but that's
1:45:23
a crazy fucking story. Yeah, A dude
1:45:25
across stream and come to find out man. He uh,
1:45:28
like a couple of weeks later because you know, he's mentally ill, so
1:45:30
they couldn't hold him. They took him to the to
1:45:33
you know, mental place, and they released him before year dollars. You know,
1:45:35
they got that rule. So I got a restrain order
1:45:37
on him and everything, and then, uh, I gonna find out.
1:45:39
Like a month later, the police called
1:45:41
out come by my house and
1:45:44
they're like, uh, we're just coming over here
1:45:46
because the dude called his mom and said
1:45:48
he's on his way to my house
1:45:51
to get my get his ferrari. Gonna
1:45:53
find out he was obsessed with my ferrari. That's
1:45:55
why he was going towards the garage and he's
1:45:57
trying to come to get his ferrari. So the police stayed
1:45:59
at my house probably about probably eight
1:46:01
o'clock to about one because they
1:46:04
would be actually charged him this time because it's premeditated.
1:46:06
So but he never showed up, you know what I mean. They had
1:46:09
marked cars on the street waiting on it, and he
1:46:11
never showed up. But that's been smoothed
1:46:13
ever since, you know what I mean. We're in the process
1:46:16
of moving right now though I'm trying to get into get
1:46:18
the community. But but yeah, that that was that was a crazy
1:46:20
ass fuck. Uh, that's fucking nuthing. You
1:46:22
know, it was crazy, you know what I mean? And uh, you
1:46:24
know they took that was my favorite guns. They took that ship,
1:46:26
man, And don't get it back to me, man, a
1:46:29
big gass holding. The fucking I had to get the wall passed
1:46:32
out. That a big gass holding. That's crazy,
1:46:34
man? Was it? When you I mean, when
1:46:37
you fired your gun in your house? How loud was
1:46:39
that ship? Like my wife said, when she
1:46:41
was running like she got scared. I'm
1:46:43
sure you know what I mean, she didn't know if it was me him,
1:46:45
and there's kids and she's pregnant. That's fucking nuting.
1:46:47
Yeah. So like when she came out, she came out crying
1:46:50
and stuff. Yeah, because soler
1:46:52
and ship. But yeah, it was, Yeah, it
1:46:54
was some crazy. It's something I don't I don't wish, I don't know
1:46:56
aboudy man, and my heart was beating and ship like
1:46:58
that, you know what I mean? And it was
1:47:00
crazy. I had the gun was called a judge.
1:47:03
It shoots shotgun shells and and fifty
1:47:05
cow and when I when I load, I put
1:47:07
one every other one and I just
1:47:10
spending and close it. And the cor was
1:47:12
like, you lucky it wasn't a shotgun shell because you know what spread.
1:47:14
He's like, you would have hit him. I mean, I'm glad
1:47:17
it was a bullet. It was a fifty cow. But he's
1:47:19
like, you lucky it wasn't shotgun because it would have spread. You would
1:47:21
you would hit him? Right? You know, I want to I don't want
1:47:23
kill nobody. And in hindsight, you know, they
1:47:25
say I ain't a killer, but don't push me. You know what I mean,
1:47:28
Like like you know pox, You know what I mean, I
1:47:30
ain't kill it. But yeah, you know what I'm saying.
1:47:32
But but yeah, that's a wild
1:47:34
story. Crazy. Yeah it was crazy. All
1:47:36
right, you have your football camp. I would love
1:47:38
to come. Not that I can offer anything in football, but
1:47:40
I can hang out with you guys. I could talk to the kids,
1:47:43
meet the kids. Maybe I get in shape. I don't know. Tell
1:47:45
everybody about the camp. Why is it free? Man?
1:47:48
Because mym was growing up. Man, My mom worked
1:47:50
their butt off to work extra and to
1:47:53
send me to the USC and ul A camp to try to get
1:47:55
me, give me seeing and stuff. When I was in junior
1:47:58
high high school, and there was never nothing free. Know, all
1:48:00
these athletes were around back then, it was
1:48:02
the l A Raiders, you know what I mean. It was never nothing
1:48:04
free for the kids, for the inner city kids. So you
1:48:07
know, I always said, if I made it, you know, I'm gonna do a free football
1:48:09
camp. And uh, you know, make it free.
1:48:12
Um, you know, I get, I get. I
1:48:14
get a lot of guys to fly out, you know, mostly
1:48:16
a lot of guys for my team because it's close. And then you
1:48:18
know, other guys that play on other teams their home that weekend,
1:48:20
I had them come through and stuff, so you know, the guys
1:48:23
could meet actual NFL guys. And then
1:48:25
I got coaches that volunteer and stuff. And
1:48:27
we make it fun, man, We make it fun. Uh.
1:48:29
But yeah, I always want to do something free for the kids. Man. You
1:48:32
know, I feel like adults they could go out there and work hard and
1:48:35
make stuff on their own. Kids are innocent, you know, innocent.
1:48:38
So this is my ap. You're doing it, and uh, you
1:48:40
know, it's getting bigger and bigger since I've been a Raider man, so
1:48:43
it's getting huge. Last year, had to cut off registration
1:48:45
because I ain't think I don't have enough room on the field,
1:48:47
you know what I mean. So it's getting bigger and bigger. Uh
1:48:50
um, But yeah, man, I'm just I'm excited.
1:48:52
We had fun. I bring the DJ out and play the music.
1:48:55
You know, we do a little relay race after I
1:48:57
got some I got some new stuff wing
1:49:00
up this year, a couple of surprises and stuff, and I feed
1:49:02
him and I do for four hours. You
1:49:04
know. I signed all the autographs and stuff like that,
1:49:06
and you know, we got some little fun stuff. Um,
1:49:09
I'm coming up this year, so it's gonna be cool. But the best
1:49:11
part when we do a seven on seven with
1:49:13
the older kids, it gets live
1:49:16
because they it's it's
1:49:18
competition. You know, it gets live. And
1:49:20
if somebody wants to try to sign up their kids, where
1:49:23
can they find the camp. You gotta go
1:49:25
to uh www dot donald
1:49:27
Pin Football dot com. You could register there
1:49:29
and it's uh, I'm doing it back at my high
1:49:31
school. Um. I went to Saint Bernard High
1:49:33

1:49:36
go sign up at at Donald Pin dot com
1:49:39

1:49:41

1:49:45
to it and um, it's it's it's a good event.
1:49:48
All right, I'm gonna be there, Okay, definitely.
1:49:50
I would love for you come and you know, kids like they
1:49:52
know who you are, you know what I mean, they'd like to just come shake your
1:49:54
hand and and then you come out some fun. Absolutely
1:49:56
you can throw the football around with him and everything. Absolutely
1:49:59

1:50:10
terms and injury free, keep
1:50:13
playing. Maybe you make it to Vegas, maybe
1:50:16
you don't. But I mean, anybody who has the raider
1:50:18
attitude, you have the raider attitude, they're lucky
1:50:20
