In this episode of the Full Disclosure Fitness Podcast I have a great conversation with “physique sculptor” Scott Tousignant. Scott is the owner of the website metabolicmasterpiece.com; and he’s one of the top fitness experts in the field today.
If you recall, Scott was my guest for episode 16. In this episode we go off the cuff a little more. I’d venture to say that this show, although less “structured”, has perhaps more vital fitness information that the last – and that’s saying a lot!
I really enjoy talking with Scott and he has became a great friend. His love for the visual aspects of altering (and improving) physiques meshes perfectly with my belief system. In layman’s terms – that means we’ve got a lot to talk about!
As Scott said we probably could have talked for 3 more hours about the intricacies of life, fitness, health, and body recomposition – but that just means there is plenty of fuel for a future show.
In this episode we discuss everything from fat loss nutrition to the movie Hellraiser (you’ll understand after you listen). Nothing is off limits. I know you’ll pick up a ton of useful info in this one!
More specifically in this episode you’ll find out:
How consistency with variety can spur you to fitness success.
Why keeping records of your performance can help you achieve better results.
What books may help you get ahead in the game of fitness – and life.
How certain overriding “rules” apply to world in general.
Why the placement of your belly button may determine when you see your six-pack!
How to eat the same things while still enjoying a variety of food (this will make sense after you listen).
Why Scott chose fitness as a profession.
How you can balance your fitness life with your family life.
Thoughts on Kevin Ogar’s tragic spine injury during Crossfit.
And much, much more.
