when i started listening to it i thought it's gonna be my favorite podcast i've listened to this month or even a year but it all went pretty rushed after some episodes and got left on a very undefined note as if a premise for season 2. overall, great voice acting and atmosphere, i got nostalgia from working on the ship and had a sudden urge to go back there to explore deep black water. worth a listen if you love sci fi genre or a more specific one: scientists doing something in a remote location and then some shit goes a-wire

This podcast was very amazing and compelling!, I myself love the ocean so it was interesting to listen to a podcast about a deep sea station , also I've been listening to some of the sci-fi fantasy podcasts, and this one was a twist for me but on earth, great writing! I was captivated in the ending of ep 10 for the cliffhanger, I wish I knew what happens to the Amphitrite at the end at its crew lol. but great show I loved it

I really wanted to like this podcast... I stopped listening after episode 3 :( The main character is appealing, and there are some funny and interesting moments, but there are a lot of didactics - fine when it comes to musings about actual philosophy, but when 3 characters are having a "conversation" about why the ocean is compelling/mysterious to humans, all from the exact same point of view... It was a bridge too far for me.
