I was blown away by this podcast within minutes of the first episode. The writing is fresh and natural and Just. So. Good. I could listen to hours of Ivouma Okoro just telling me about the **world** they've built, no story required! But the story! It's so good!
Absolutely brilliant. In only seven episodes, I know the creator has a whole world and plan built out around her characters, and I know I want to see more of it as soon as possible. Vega is so funny and well made, I can't imagine how Ivuoma Okoro has managed to do it! The soundtrack and editing is stellar, it's really a joy to listen to. Anyone who likes scifi audio dramas needs to put this on their list as soon as possible.
It's a fabulous feeling; it begins as a speculation, and as you start listening to the teaser or first episode, it's the rush you feel as you realise: this is even better than you hoped. That's what I found in Ivuoma Okoro's powerhouse single person narration of 'Vega: A Sci-Fi Adventure'. It's smart and witty. It boots along, taking fast corners in the pursuit of showing a developed speculative fiction culture and landscape for our heroine that's interesting and well performed. And yes, it's certainly bingeworthy.
