Our sports nutrition staff at WVU will be giving you the newest evidenced-based nutrition recommendations and commentary specific to our WVU athletes. In the era of COVID, we are striving to reach athletes in new ways, at any time of day through our podcast.
We will be bringing you information related to food resources for athletes around campus, the latest information on energy availability (finally giving you a resource on how to determine calorie needs!), topics related to nutrition and inflammation, recovery, immune function, injury prevention, recovering from injury, body composition, vitamins/minerals, food beliefs, body image, nutrition periodization, supplements, fad diets, sleep, hydration, and more! We will also be bringing you some interviews with our fellow staff members like our Sport Psychologist, Student-Athlete Enhancement Director, and more.
