Any show that can make me riveted by history is exceptional. This is U.S. history from the point of African Americans, narrated by an African American, using voices of African Americans as primary sources. Stellar sound-quality and amazing storytelling. Why hasn't there been a podcast like this before?

This podcast had a wonderful story arc, well-plotted across all episodes. The acting bothered me for some of the characters: whoever played Minkowski was obviously reading from a page, and that could be distracting, but the storylines were amusing and emotionally deep, so they kept me coming back til the end. Mission to Zyxx has better acting and sound effects, though not as well-plotted of a storyline. I recommend Mission to Zyxx if you need more sci-fi audiocasting in your life.
