Jeramzee is led by Jeremy Monteiro, also featuring Tony Zee on drums, Eddie Jansen on bass and Steven Rufus on saxophone. As Singapore’s longest lasting contemporary jazz band, Jeramzee was active for over a decade since its establishment in year 1982. The band recorded its debut album, Back To Basics in 1986 with Eldee Young, Redd Holt and other outstanding musicians. Its second album, Faces & Places, with Herbie Mann and Paulinho Da Costa, recorded one of the highest selling contemporary jazz albums in South-East Asia when it was released in 1988.For the first time in 20 years, September 2013 will see a reunion of old friends who are all still vibrant performers in the Singapore music scene. Come join us in witnessing this historically important Singapore Contemporary Jazz group relive some of their trailblazing works with many original tunes from their album, Faces & Places!
