The NTU Harmonica Band was established in 1986. Its first instructor was Mr. Ho Tat Chew. The Band is made up of a group of enthusiastic harmonica players from the Nanyang Technology University. It is currently under the guidance of Mr. Tang Yuen Wai, a renowned and experienced harmonica band instructor in Singapore.Since 1996, the Band has been performing for its Vivace Concert Series at several locations including the Singapore Jubilee Hall, DBS Auditorium, World Trade Center Auditorium, Victoria Concert Hall, Esplanade Recital Studio, Republic Polytechnic TRCC Theatre as well as within the NTU campus.
